Now that Trump officials are sending out letters to US born citizens demanding they self deport I'm wondering how quickly you guys will deport yourselves if Trump demands you to do so?

Where do you plan to self deprt yourself and have you got a go bag ready for that fateful day when Trump decides you're a threat to America and must leave?
Trump doesn't need a reason to tell you to self deport he just needs to know you exist and he can just decide that you must leave.

In "fairness" to the current administration, the letters to self deport you're referring to are due to email data gathering errors rather than US born citizens being specifically targeted.

My plan has been to self deport as I get closer to retirement age (still have a bit to go), though I'm actively working on securing everything because I'll likely be self deporting sooner than later.

Where would you like to go?

You have the entire world to choose from.
Australia is pretty nice. I've been to Italy and Sorento is bloody lovely and could be an amazing place to retire.

This summer me and the family are going to self deport to Greece.
Then, were all going to be repatriated two weeks later.

The plan is Spain. I have property there and in South America, but being in Europe has always been the goal. Spain puts the UK a hop skip and jump, and visiting there is a plus. A lot of financial planning to make that happen though, because South America would be the more affordable option, though political stability is always an issue.

It's poor usage of metadata standards. There should be metadata categories that allow for the capture of personal email address and others for specific use cases, like one's attorney, family members etc.

Turns out that the first to arrive were not indentured servants. That was later. Finding out the details from Mom.
 
For me, we aren't to the "Time to self-deport" stage. But we have moved from "That would never be necessary here" to "Time to start casually exploring residency options elsewhere, just in case."

But I like to travel abroad anyway, so it's probably easier for me to move than it would be for most people. Unless Trump goes full Nazi, self-deportation for me would probably just involve spending slightly less time in America than in currently do.
