IF Bush had won the nomination I would have voted for him (even though I'm a 'liberal idiot'). But since he didn't for the reasons I've outlined elsewhere in this thread my choice for the lesser evil was Clinton. It's sad that people are okay with that kind of voting but what are you gonna do? Sure I could have voted for Jill Stein who wanted universal healthcare and marijuana legalized for recreational use on the federal level but since I actually think, I knew she wouldn't get anywhere with that (though I am a little surprised that the Bernie folks didn't go for her instead of Hillary, which justifies my point also made elsewhere in this thread). Besides universal healthcare and legal weed isn't really my thing. Yes I thought the ACA was a good idea but we all soon found out that it 'tried' to fix only half of the problem. The other half is the medical industry itself e.g. when it costs $1000.00 for an MRI at one clinic and only $500.00 at another less than half a mile away it seems to me like there's an opportunity for improvement there.

I cannot imagine Bush 3 going up against China's trade policy. Or any trade policy. The Clinton's and Bush's and Obama's of the world want ORDER. Not change. They want to do their four years, build a library and get out. The elites all drink champagne together and love each other, and promote each others businesses, and marry off their kids to each other. There is no reason for Washington DC to be a powerful as it is today. It's power is derived from the generations of torch passers each grabbing a piece of "tax payer pie" on the way out the door.
