The closing night of the Democratic National Convention on Thursday drew about 26.2 million TV viewers, narrowly outpacing the Republican National Convention's final night, according to data from the media measurement company Nielsen.

The convention's final night aired across 15 television networks and drew about 820,000 more viewers than the estimated 25.4 million people who watched the final night of the Republican event, Nielsen reported.

And what you're not telling us is that the DNC convention was not a rally, open to the general public. In order to attend, you had to be credentialed. In other words, you had to be an invited guest, a delegate, or a member of the media.

“Only credentialed delegates, media, and guests can attend the convention in-person,” the convention’s website says.

The DNC convention purpose was not to fill to capacity, but rather simply to have enough room for the people who were needed there.

To be fair, Trump used paid advertising to draw his crowd and Harris did not.

I think the numbers reflect something else. A LOT of Republicans and Independents turned in hoping she would talk about some of her policies. Instead, she chose to lie about trump.

Well worth reading the entire article to have a clear understanding of Harris’ (and others) comments/assertions regarding numerous Traitor Trump flip-flops, misleading claims, and outright lies.

Supporters of former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, took to social media on Monday night to claim that attendance at the DNC paled in comparison to the RNC, comparing photos of the events taken at different times.​

Multiple Trump supporters also shared images from the conservative Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN) that showed a lightly attended DNC juxtaposed with a packed RNC.​

However, both events were sparsely attended when they began and the RSBN comparison appears to use carefully selected images. Photos taken of the RNC also show significant sections of empty seating visible during the early hours.​

Some supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris mocked the Trump supporters for attempting to compare the convention crowds at different points by sharing their own photos and videos.

A new presidential candidate, a slew of celebrities and slick programming helped propel Democrats and Vice President Kamala Harris to a ratings win at this week’s Democratic National Convention, surpassing the television viewership of last month’s Republican gathering.

Viewership of the four-day festivities in Chicago drew an average of 21.8 million viewers, according to Nielsen data, eclipsing the audience of the Republican National Convention by nearly 15 percent.

On the final evening this week, Harris’ acceptance address was watched by 28.9 million viewers, narrowly outdrawing former President Donald Trump’s speech in Milwaukee, which drew 28.4 million viewers across 15 television networks. Trump’s more than 90-minute address, the longest convention acceptance speech in recent history, came just days after the assassination attempt on his life.

Harris’ viewership victory amounted to a blow for Trump, who is famously obsessed with television ratings and the size of his crowds. On Thursday night, as Harris delivered her address, Trump watched along, posting live reactions to his Truth Social account, then called into Fox News afterward to offer a meandering rebuttal.
