Has it? Was therre the outbreak of political hate on both sides of the aisle like it is now ever before? I mean we have had more mass shootings in the 8 months of this year than we did fro 2009 to 2017. The white supremacy movements are worse than they were when the KKK enjoyed its hay day. There was never a leftist movement like the Antifa at this level before. So I think you are wrong, but would fight to the death for you to be allowed to have your opinion.

The guy was already on probation for assault with a deadly weapon. I very much doubt Trump's rhetoric was needed to set this guy off.

I have seen estimates of two million KKK members at their hay day. There are more than a thousand white supremacy groups alone in our country, so I think I am right.

I would argue that it has not.

But what definitely has changed is we’ve NEVER had a pResident so purposely divisive, who promises to pay the legal fees of bad actors exactly like this over this exact issue.

With maybe a dozen members each, for the most part. A BIG group would be around 100, 200 on the outside.

They don't operate with anything like the openness and tacit approval that the KKK did in their heyday. Heck, they don't even march with the numbers or frequency of the American Nazi Party and affiliates in the '60s and '70s.

Baltimore and Ferguson riots. Seattle WTO riots. LA riots. Ruby Ridge Wako Oklahoma.

The strife was always there. It’s only been in the last 20 or fewer years that technology has made previous local or unreported stories gain national attention. How many cell phone videos now produce a news event that previously was lucky to get a paragraph in the local beat section of a paper?
 
Revoke his 10 year probation and add on a consecutive max charge for assault and battery of a minor. An evil guy like him has no business being in society. Severely hurting a 13 year old will not play in his favor inside.

Most violent people have hair-triggers and can be easily set off. Trump's rhetoric might have been all it took to push him over the edge...

It will be interesting to see if this guy makes a plea deal. If he does, one of the requirements is that he articulate that he knows to what he is pleading guilty. I'd like to hear what he has to say that he thinks in any way mitigates or even superficially justifies his behavior.

What could have possibly been in this man's mind that he would rationalize that what he did was in any way called for?

Ten year probation for ADW and bail set at a hundred grand, which boils down to TEN grand at the bondsman office.
That's what this country is coming to. Nobody is taking this guy seriously. That's what this country is coming to.

Bail should be set at half a million to a million because he has prior ADW and is therefore a flight risk. He knows he might get 25 for this.
Oh and, yeah sorry....sweep that mofo's house for guns immediately because with what he is looking at, he may go off and do his own payback at some mall.

Why is the OP grandstanding about Trump and not about 10 years for assault with a weapon being suspended?

What do you call The Weather Underground, Symbionese Liberation Army and the Students for a Democratic Society?

Antifa are a small ragtag bunch of mostly spoiled white incels living with Mummy and Daddy who THINK that they are the equivalent of the 1930's German leftist group that battled Putschers and Nationalists in the streets of Germany.

The groups I listed above have documented body counts. They actually killed people and blew stuff up.
And there were interests on the Right who tried to make the Weathermen, SDS and SLA "the face of" the Democratic Party back then.
And just like back then, those same interests desperately want to make Antifa the face of the Democratic Party today.

But make no mistake about it, the old Leftist radicals were no joke like Antifa is today.
Apparently you were not around back then but I sure was and I remember it clearly.

Asking if this has been made worse by Trump isn't grandstanding, and that kind of nonsense is surprising when I remember that you claimed you were a Bernie supporter.
