Donald Trump preys and attracts the ignorant, the bigots, the apolitical, the racists, the scared and weak, the American fascists. What say you my fellow members? :hm
What the Establishment hierarchy, both left and right, fear most about a Donald Trump Presidency is that his bold and radical proposals could actually succeed in solving many of America's problems!
Why? Because Trump's success would expose the destructive failures of the Politicly Correct Policies long practiced by Establishment DemoPublicans and bring about an end to their political monopoly!

The Establishment doesn't care one way or the other about America's problems. The Establishment doesn't want Trump, or Sanders for that matter, because they don't believe they would be able to control or influence them. And they're probably right about that.
What proposals? So far all I've seen out of the guy is bumper sticker slogans. He's flinging red meat to the masses and that's working for now but if wants to be taken seriously he needs to come up with some actual, viable plans.
Actually what the Republican establishment is afraid of with Donald Trump is that they know he would go down like George McGovern or Barry Goldwater in a general election and since they want to win, they don't want him as their candidate. Most of them have the same (and very justifiable fear) about Ted Cruz.

That leaves Rubio/Kasich.
Good analysis.

Right, Rubio is by far the most electable candidate the Republicans have and him and Kasich (and possibly Christie) are the only ones the Democrats are afraid to run against. Their dream would be to run against Trump, Carson, or Cruz. Not only would they all lose by a good margin, they would most likely take down a lot of down ticket GOP candidates with them.
I swear, the GOP base has to be the most unaware voting block in the history of the country. They think they want a guy like Trump because he will deport all the illegals. They don't get that no candidate can win a national election without appealing to minorities as well. The further to the right they move, the smaller their voting block will be in the general election.
The voters that show up at the polls in midterm elections are nothing demographically like the voters that show up at the polls in presidential elections.
Flying the American flag at half mast is fitting considering the content of your OP. A Trump Presidency truly would be the death of much of what makes America great and a beacon of decency and hope to many around the world.
Might be a breath of fresh air though too.
If you live in China or North Korea, perhaps.
Please more thoroughly complete your syllogism (if/then statement) with some kind of justification of the statement.
What exactly is a the party establishment?
Cruz? McCain? Palin...the eye of the beholder. My father has had a GOP membership for 0over 55 years...is he establishment?
Obviously with a combined support of over 50%, many long term party members don't fear Trump or Cruz.
No such body exists.
Of great help would be, perhaps mostly to yourself, if you were to educate yourself on what you speak of.Please more thoroughly complete your syllogism (if/then statement) with some kind of justification of the statement.
