You serve my point exactly,, You basically called me a racist ( Mr Bunker) just because I asked a "dumb question" They may be dumb questions to you,, But people get called racist all the time for just disagreeing with someone ( of the opposite race)
Maybe you can define for me just what is "racist" I mean it's a word thrown around so easily these days.
These questions may be "Cheesy" but they sure got a rise out of you, You instantly assume I am ignorant & very possibly a racist, all without knowing who I am, Or what I am.

Really? You don't know what a racist is? OK, I'll play along.
A racist is someone who claims to inherently know, or assumes, things about a person based solely upon their skin color and judges them accordingly. Therefore, merely disagreeing with the president's policies aren't racist, unless your disagreement is based upon his color. You should have known that one.
Telling jokes doesn't make you racist either, unless the joke is a genuine reflection of your bigotry. For instance, if you really believe that Jews are all stingy, telling a joke about a jew who gives himself a stiff neck, checking to see if the pennies are still in his loafers, would be racist. Otherwise, it's just ignorant and plays upon a common racial stereotype.
Not that I should have to explain the last one, but, OBVIOUSLY, if you refuse to sell or rent a house to someone based upon their skin color, that's racist. If you refuse service to someone simply because of their skin color, that too is racist. Presumably, you wouldn't refuse service to someone unless you suspected that you would suffer some damage from the interaction. For instance, if you believe that all black people are lazy and dirty, you wouldn't want to rent your house to them for fear that it would be neglected and the rent payments would fall behind. The fear is often real to the bigot but it's based in falsehoods that, ultimately, diminish us all.
I struggle to understand how, with the perspective of written history, you don't understand what a racist is, given that we live in a country that famously institutionalized its racism for centuries. Your post got a "rise" out of me because it is a very typical conservative tactic to play dumb and pretend not to understand how racism has manifest in this country. If you are a child or someone who, for some reason, is excluded from higher education, then I apologize for assuming you were ignorant. However, if you are just being obtuse then there's nothing more to say.
