Because Japan has all of them.

Japan, the UK, Germany, Canada, South Korea are some of the go to examples of Countries we should emulate.

My question is if the US turns to Socialism, who's going to fund those Countries defense ?

Because obviously the US would have to make huge cuts to it's defense budget to pay fund things like free healthcare, college, housing, etc

And since US has been funding our allies Defense for the last 7 decades while they spent their money experimenting with Socialism, our allies would be poorly equiped to defend themselves.

Canada can't even meet their agreed upon NATO 2% defense spending targets, but they sure like to dog US Healthcare

If the US gutted it's defense spending to fund single payer, free college or housing, I wonder how long Taiwan would last ? Or South Korea ? Japan ? Ukraine ? Our East European NATO partners ? Israel ?

I wonder if China and Russia support Socialism in the US ? I bet they do
