They should be condemned totally. Nothing but pond scum.
Thank goodness our president made a public condemnation of them.

Trump's constant hate speech since Charlottesville offsets any good you think he did during his forced condemnation of the hate groups.

Does his constant pandering to hate groups embolden the domestic terrorism such as we've seen over the past few days? I don't know - but I know for sure that it doesn't help!

Some white nationalists don't consider black and Jews to be inferior. They just want their countries to be mainly white. See Japan for example. The Japanese want their country to be mainly Japanese. That doesn't mean they are racist towards other people.

Japan is very bigoted (for Ecofarm, for others Racist) towards other ethnic groups. Koreans in Japan are looked down upon, ethnic Japanese that moved to Japan from spending a couple of generations in Brazil have been looked down on

Think about this, if he could have had open discussion without fear of excommunication from society is it possible that this shooter may have never went down the rabbit hole of extremism and end up on one of those anonymous forums? If society forces individuals to repress any thought deemed unacceptable then it is only natural that they would end up forming their own toxic underground bubble that reinforces everything they believe and cheers on one and another. We see the same thing in our politics with how both sides retreat into their own bubble causing them to be more radicalized, it would seem logical that the same process would occur with them only we are dealing with already deranged individuals so the likelihood of something like El Paso is greatly increased.

And no in general. There are parents, family, friends, and education (in diversity, history, etc) in schools where questions are safe. If you ask questions...you dont set an agenda...you ask for info. That can be completely neutral.

You are working way to hard to excuse these losers.

Why? And the Japanese are pretty racist. And afaik, the Japanese have a very homogeneous culture...the white populations in the US do not. We are made up of many ethnicities leading to many different cultures even within the European ethnicities.

The question I'd then ask is, why? Seems to imply that there are reasons outside bloodlines are unacceptable.

Maybe it's a matter of a mindset I dont really relate to.

White nationalism is a type of nationalism or pan-nationalism which espouses the belief that white people are a race and seeks to develop and maintain a white national identity. Its proponents identify with and are attached to the concept of a white nation. White nationalists say they seek to ensure the survival of the white race, and the cultures of historically white states. They hold that white people should maintain their majority in majority-white countries, maintain their political and economic dominance, and that their cultures should be foremost.
That describes many countries, including Japan. One could compare it to preserving cultures and religions. Chairman Mao destroyed Tibet and their culture.

Well, what white culture and religions are white people trying to preserve here? We developed thru a process and "culture" of immigration, not homogeneity. And I personally, am happy with diversity, so I dont think you can even claim a majority of white Americans desire an all-white society. Would be interesting to see some polls.

First...we're not a white nation. Period. So that's not remotely realistic. But in general, most of that definition disgusts me and the rest I find confusing and do not relate to it.

I see differences in cultures...and there are plenty of white sub-cultures in the US I wouldnt want to be part of or associated with.

White nationalists are one of them.

I wouldnt want to live in France because I dont really appreciate them or their culture. I'd do better in middle-class Mexico.

It's not a matter of difference. To them, the white race is on equal footing with any other races. And cultures too. They don't want to lose that, just like with Russians, Mexicans, Japanese, Chinese, Koreans and others.

BTW I like multiculturalism. I love different cultures. I'm just explaining their, as you said, mindset. It's like "keeping it in the family" or "keeping it in the community" mindset. You can see the same mindset with religious people.

Since the Democratic Party essentially claims every white American citizen who is a Republican and/or supports the President - and anyone who does who isn't white - and anyone who isn't for open borders - is a white supremacist, member of the KKK and neo-Nazi, I declined answering. And ditto I don't know any white supremacists, KKK members or neo-Nazis personally nor can recall ever meeting one.

Sociopathic and/or psychotic mass murderers are crazy. Trying to attach that to anyone else is pointless.

The El Paso shooter also ranted against capitalism and as an environmentalist. In fact there are environmentalism terrorists and people who are murderous against companies. Why does no one sound the alarm about them now? Oh that's right, it HAS to be something about Trump supporters - nothing else counts. That is why I declined to vote - though nothing particularly wrong with your poll. Rather, it is the isolated context at this time.
