In Onslow County North Carolina cameras and tape recorders aren’t allowed in the court room. Imagine that. You go to your court house and tell people what happened and everybody says, “nuh uh” then you reply, “yeah huh” then they say, “nuh uh”. Nobody will ever believe me but I believe you would change your perspective if you spent one full day in your local courthouse and I don’t even know where you live. I know you’ll see abuse of power very prevalent.

It wasn’t a criminal conviction. It was contempt of court. I spent two days in jail.

I served in the United States Marine Corps for five years to protect the freedom of speech and other freedoms that I used to believe in. Now I know that was all silly and my life has been a waste. Nobody cares about freedom. They only care about comfort. I’ll never serve the people as a patriot anymore. I’ll serve as a silent yes man if I get elected but don’t expect me to fight for anything. I don’t live in la la land anymore. America does not exist. We are just a government, nothing special.

I know for a fact that governments can put you in jail for what you say. I bet it happens every day. If you have hundreds of thousands of dollars or millions of dollars to fight all the way to the Supreme Court , you will get money for your free speech being violated but you still went to jail.

Your example has zero to do with free speech. Governments don’t force companies to fire their employees for what they say. Free speech means the government can’t administer punishment for the things you say. However, I know for a fact that governments do punish people for what they say.

Nope. Talk to a Supreme Court justice. They come down hard on cases like that all the time. I can find one.
