What is different between REAL CHRISTIANITY & a CULT that thinks it's "Christian"? (2 Viewers)

Good on the charitable Christians. If they must follow a myth in order to be charitable, I suppose that it okay as long as they are doing good in the world.
i think God would disagree with you...

lol...just like the golden calf was a representation of the Israelites worship to God...SMH...
I don't worship Santa Claus. But that doesn't mean CHRISTIANS can't be generous come the Holidays. Except for those too busy being self-righteously pious to care...

If you need someone/something to prod you into being generous...well, it means nothing...just sayin'...

Off topic. If you want to believe in myths, that’s up to you. I guess I will have to act as your parent. Do you remember when they told you that Santa Claus wasn’t real? Did that burst your bubble of belief? Sorry, but I’ll have to do it again: God isn’t real, he’s just a figment of human imagination. And all those stories about Jesus “resurrecting”. Just fables, just made up stories. Sorry to have to burst your bubble of belief yet again.

That's your belief.

This is nothing more than an example of the hatefulness of which the Trumpies are so proud up above in politics that it is also brought down here. The Trumpies have hijacked both patriotism and religion. Patriotism has been hijacked into fascism and religion has been hijacked into a politics-infused Trump cult that Jesus would simply not recognize if he was to actually “come back”. He would harshly reject such a twisted “Christianity” in which empathy for others has been thrown out the window in the same manner as he did with the Pharisees his first time around. Anyone who supports Trump and at the same time claims to be a Christian may be fooling themselves, but they are not fooling everyone.

Lol, knew it would bring the "Trump" out of you......It's those similar as yourself who are so obsessed with Trump which is destroying politics in our country. It's quite amazing to see how far they go to justify the hatred, as the excuses are limitless being on that self-righteous perch.

If you need an organization to prod you into being religious... well, isn't that the same thing? Just askin'...'

So many lies in just that short post. It is the Trump Christians that are giving the religion its bad name, those who support a serial adulterer and congenital liar. Jesus woukd be ashamed of those who claim to spread the gospel in his name but who have thrown his teachings such as empathy for others in the trash. The Trump Christians should be ashamed of providing support for a person who worships only his own ego, but Trump has taught them that shame is also a trait that has no merit, much to the chagrin of a Jesus.

I'm not religious...I am a Christian who focuses on my personal relationship with Jesus Christ, all the while embracing his teachings and thus the same of Jehovah God...

I have often wondered, how many who are believers in god(s) would remain followers IF it could be proven there was no afterlife?

Lol, a new phrase......"Trump Christians". I get it now....it would of been far better for "Trump Christians" to vote for Kamala Harris, then you unbelief and hatred would be satisfied and who knows, maybe you would of began to believe in Christ.

This thread is about cults vs “real Christianity”, and there is simply no doubt that the Trump Christians are a cult, one that has totally rejected the empathy towards other humans that formed a centrality of the teachings of Jesus. The Trump “Christian” cult is carefully ignoring the starvation genocide of children in the Gaza Strip by Netanyahu while Trump looks the other way. To think that this cult has anything at all to do with the message of Jesus is pure wishful thinking. Jesus would be so ashamed of the Trump cult actually using his name by describing themselves as “Christians” when it is actually nothing more than a political entity supporting a hateful liar who seems intent on causing problems for people all over the world.

If man invented writing then it would have to have been an iterative process of written language development. There is no empirical evidence of that though.
There is plenty of evidence. The evolution of cuneiform and hieroglyphs is known. We also know they developed independently.

Both languages began as records of transactions. The progression from records to literature is seen through millennia.

The Sumerians and Egyptians invented writing around 3500-3200 BCE. Over 5000 years ago. Native tribes exist today that have no written language.

Speaking is instinctual. Writing is clearly an invention of man.

As noted earlier, there isn’t even a consensus on what constitutes writing. Archaeologists, linguists, and cryptographers have a hard enough time distinguishing between fully developed written language and some ancient person’s idea of pretty patterns and rarely reach consensus on any of it.
That's false.

You wouldn’t recognize the very beginning of iterative written language development even if it was staring you in the face. So you can never empirically prove that man invented writing. What empirical evidence does exist, in the form of ancient records, says outright that man didn’t do it. When ancient peoples tell you they didn’t invent their own written language and it was taught to them by some non-human entity then maybe you should listen.

Easily identifiable. Not so easily translated, but obviously written languages.

Symbolic writing likely began with counting represented by individual slashes. The number 1 has changed little over the millennia.

Ancient written languages have no vowels. Cuneiform, Hieroglyphic, Hebrew; no vowels. So, first, why no vowels from these extra-terrestrials, and who were the non-humans that taught us to use them?
