Musk and his script kiddies have been tearing through various departments of the government in their hunt for "waste, fraud, and abuse" (wink wink). Now DOGE has several of his recruits from his various companies, that have all benefitted from the federal government, embedded into various departments. In other words, these are not contractors, these are official government employees. And none of them have had background checks, just given blanket access by Trump from the beginning.

Musk has more power in this country than any other with exception of the president. He's the richest, and now he's entrenched himself into our executive branch.

How did that happen?

Is it because he really is in charge?

Think of how MAGA reacts when someone posts on Xitter about the "fraud" they've "found". And MAGA eats it up as some great revelation. How can anyone be that gullible?

That said, we see how quickly they've been tearing through departments, getting all of their data...don't you think he's also obtained all of Trump's data?

Not only did Elon buy the executive branch, he could really have the goods on Donald. Got him by his short and curlies.

Trump get's to go out and ride helicopters over race tracks and ride around in his big black car, get's all the TV time he wants, plays golf whenever he can, skips the foreign trips, etc. Maybe he gets to grift alot of money.

Elon gets the rest. He gets to run the government while Trump enjoys retirement living.

Of course JD is waiting in the wings for when Musk and Thiel no longer need the Donald. If Trump's popularity dives, they'll install JD. We all know how malleable he is, will make a great puppet.

But yeah, I think Musk really is in charge.

Thoughts?

Musk thinks he's in charge.

Trump could fire Musk with two words. Musk won't have Congress to save his job.

Trump is a tremendously active president/Commander-in-Chief. Trump hasn't even been in office one month, and he's accomplished more than most presidents do in their entire FOUR YEARS.

Naturally, the dems are in panic mode.

Historically, when this question is asked about an autocrat and an oligarch, it doesn't end up going well for at least one of them.

He's Trump's chief handler.

I think Musk thinks he's in charge.

Trump could fire Musk with two words. Musk won't have Congress to save his job.

Does saying that help you feel better?

Do you really think a guy who spent a quarter of a billion dollars helping Trump get elected isn't calling his own shots?

Trump handed him the keys to the Federal government. If they had a falling out, Musk could hold the whole government hostage.

Musk is not an elected official.

He needs to be removed from all government affairs, his assets need to be frozen pending a full investigation into his antics, and then he needs to be denaturalized and deported.

He can live in Praetoria WITHOUT access to his money.

At least you were correct to post this nonsense in the correct forum. I've seen no indication that Musk is in charge of anything other than his appointment as the head of DOGE, and that bugs the hell out of partisan anti-Trumps. What if Ramaswamy was still helping out with DOGE? Would you call it a co-presidency?

:sneaky:😁

The OP says that Musk is in charge. Musk is NOT in charge, so I explained the reality of the situation.

This causes inflammation and discomfort (butthurt) with some people, but that was not the intent.

Do you really think a guy who spent a quarter of a billion dollars helping Trump get elected isn't calling his own shots?
Musk is in the position he's in because Trump put him there. As soon as Musk falls out of favor with Trump, he will be fired, and since Musk is not elected, he cannot rely on Congress to save him.

That's the reality of the situation.
Trump handed him the keys to the Federal government.
Nonsense. Musk has no executive power or authority - - he is in an advisory position ONLY.
If they had a falling out, Musk could hold the whole government hostage.
LOL!!! 😆 🤣 🤣 😆 That's hilarious. 😆

I suspect the kiddoes don't know much about running a government but I would not be surprised if they were able to add some backdoors into the systems they are messing with.

Vikek is slimy as hell, but I think he knew he was out of his league being part of DOGE. I don't think he had the same amount of enemies with the government nor the money he's received from it.

Your posts get more delusional, the more you post. Maybe take a breather?

You think Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, is answering to Trump.
And you're not worried about Musk's wiz kids running rampant, scraping data and building backdoors in our government computer systems.
Huh.

Yes. Musk is operating as a "special government employee". This means that he works for the President for a specific period of time. Once the special government employee's services are no longer need, the person is let go.

At some point in time, Musk will leave as director of DOGE. AFAIK, DOGE will expire on July 4, 2026. Musk will be gone the following day.

No, I don't get caught up in the conspiracy theory nonsense.

Not anymore. But he can still theoretically be fired.

And if the rapey felon says "You're fired"...and nothing happens?

This is bullshit. He is accessing systems that contain personal information. That is NOT advising. He and his Nazi buddies were responsible for firing the people that manage our nuclear stockpile. Again, NOT ADVISING.

Stop juggling Musk's balls.

That scenario cannot possibly happen. If Trump says "You're fired", then the person who is fired is shown the door. . . . 100% of the time.

Elon Musk has no executive power or authority. Musk is in an advisory role only. (see post #18)

Musk recommends cutting funding, and he recommends to department execs to let unneeded (or unproductive) employees go. Musk does not actually do the firing - the department execs do that.

WRONG. Trump violated the law on at least nine occasions. He is already losing lawsuits.
Elon Musk has no executive power or authority. He is in an advisory role only. (see post #18)
Except that IS NOT what he's doing.

He's goose-stepping through necessary and vital federal agencies firing people. That is not what an adviser does.
Musk recommends cutting funding, and he recommends to department execs to let unneeded (or unproductive) employees go. Musk does not actually do the firing - the department chiefs do that.

DOGE Nazi goons ARE NOT federal employees. They are NOT recommending ANYTHING. They are blitzkreiging federal agencies.

Stop juggling Nazi balls. Musk is scum who needs to be shown the door.

Left wing posters were predicting that Musk and Trump would have had a falling out by now. You can scratch that off the list. Trump and Elon are laser beam focus on cutting out waste, fraud and corruption out of the goverment.
