What has happened to Roseanne Barr????

Early dementia setting in, probably. It can present in strange ways.
 
I bet tomorrow if she sang an awful rendition of National Anthem, spit, then grabbed her crotch, MAGA would cheer for her and claim he is a great American.
I remember when she initially did that, the right blew a gasket.
 
So Rosanne Barr is desperate for attention…
 
It's a weird thing in the age of trump to watch people who are by all accounts rational radicalize in real time. You see it happening...and you see it happen all the time...and it makes no sense.

These are people who genuinely seemed to have a strong tether to reality...and then *poof*...it's gone. What is it about Trump that breaks a person's mind like that?

maybe she's angry at hollywood. maybe at the people in her life. maybe she's mad at herself for 3 divorces. hell, who knows.

Conspiracy theories can take on a life of their own. It's disturbingly easy to convince someone with some trust issues that some little false narrative that resists falsification and that reinforces their fears is actually true, and then use that tiny thread to build on and eventually weave an entire tapestry of circular reasoning and imaginary narratives that take advantage of the human propensity for illusory pattern perception until the person ends up essentially living in an alternate reality. They still see and hear the same things that we do, but they make unjustified connections to other false narratives that they've heard that others do not make.

It's an interesting psychological question of at what point this sort of obsessive conspiratorial thinking transitions from run-of-the-mill conspiracy theory consumption into cluster A personality disorders.

She had a show on a local non-commercial radio station in Los Angeles. Even then, when still left-of-center, she had some odd opinions and expressed herself in absolutes, with a take-no-prisoners attitude. She definitely had hard feelings regarding her career, and expressed harsh criticism of her children as being money-grubbing ingrates.

Her show disappeared at some point, but she would be appear on Jimmy Dore’s radio show. I stopped listening, but also at some point Dore’s show also disappeared.

For both to go missing — there was some serious crazy going out on the air waves.
