What do you think think of the attack on Mr. Pelosi?

What do you think think of the attack on Mr. Pelosi?

This is a little old. The numbers keep going up.

The mere fact that even a few thinks violence would be necessary is really deplorable. But you keep defending.
What's odd is that your citing a poll that was taken 1 year ago.

Progressive Democrats can beat their drum of blaming Conservatives all they want but it falls on deaf ears. We all know it's phony.

I'm sure you'd welcome people with political opinions and positions differing from your own to be considered as 'terrorists'.
. . . and have the federal government consider them and treat them as that
The Trump cult victim nuttery, on parade.

And we all know this is really him telling on himself.

The rightwing scumbag attacker needs to be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Hopefully at least some prison time.

Are you sure you're not actually intended to spend the entire thread calling people hypocrites based on comparisons between two completely different things and whatever lies you make up about what they thought about the other thing? That'd be par.

At any rate, you're at least several threads late. People already "went on record."

See? It's all @X Factor ever posts.

I wonder how any decent persons in their right mind could possibly comment like this.
Maybe they saw CNN's coverage of it and determined it was a staged event designed as propaganda.

@ David DePape

The man who is alleged to have attacked Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, with a hammer in the couple’s San Francisco home had with him a bag that contained multiple zip ties, among other things, according to two sources who have been briefed on the incident.

In addition to the zip ties, the suspect also had duct tape on him, according to a law enforcement source.

David DePape, 42, faces charges of attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, burglary and other felonies in relation to the Friday morning attack, said San Francisco Police Chief William Scott.

So his name is known.
And what is known about DePape?

What kind of person is this?

Nudist protester. Hemp jewelry-maker. Election conspiracy theorist: The man who attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi‘s husband had a complicated profile.

David DePape, 42, was charged on Friday with attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse and burglary, and other charges after fighting with Paul Pelosi with a hammer and ultimately attacking him with it.

The Canadian native and Berkeley resident moved to California about 20 years ago to pursue a relationship, according to his stepfather Gene DePape.

You’re right, they’re not the same. The left is worse.
So tell me…what do you make of the fact that the leader of the opposing party, Donald Trump, hasn’t decried this attack, despite being a person who clearly stokes the fires that leads to this kind of action?

And then rrconcile that with the phrase ‘the left is worse’? Do you think Biden would be silent if McConnells wife was attacked by a BLM activist?

Why would traitor trump decry this attack, when he encouraged his cult to hunt Nancy Pelosi down in his trump incited insurrection? When the corrupt traitor sat on his bloated ass watching them chant to hang the Vice President, and they had their noose at the Capitol? Traitor trump, and anyone who defends or agrees with him, is anti-American trash, plain and simple.

Silence is complicity.

What do you mean? Nobody should be attacked in their own home. Has anyone suggested otherwise?
Not at all. Just trying to allay some apparent concerns.

So you’ll start a thread like this but avoid a question like the one below? I mean, you saw it, right?

I don't think anything

It is what is

A terrible occurrence

What more can be added ?

Lol, right, lefty protests have never turned violent.

This might be more convincing if there had not been an actual threat against a Supreme Court Justice.
The guy was a mental case. That he was fuzzily thinking an SC opinion was not good is hardly a political commitment, which is probably why his relative could talk him out of attacking Kavanaugh.

We have yet to find out about the guy who smashed the head of Pelosi's 82-year-old husband with a hammer after crying out, "Where's Nancy?" I'm thinking this is actually politically motivated, albeit clearly also a mental case.

But I'm also impressed by another difference.

That SC opinion has already resulted in some women who were denied abortions almost dying or being seriously injured. One Republican in a state legislature was horrified that a young woman was threatened with sterility from the bad effects of his state's anti-abortion law. So I can see why a mentally unbalanced person could think the SC opinion was not good.

In contrast, Nancy Pelosi's husband had nothing to do with making a law or a court opinion that could have threatened the well being of anyone. He was nothing but an 82-year-old man. Why, if it was important to attack Nancy Pelosi, would he have smashed the head of her retired husband?

It doesn't have anything to do with Republican or not. It has to do with politically and ideologically aligned or not.
Should there be Democrats who have the courage to oppose other Democrats, they'd be called "a threat to this country" as well.

In fact, didn't that just happen to Tulsi Gabbard?
No, Gabbard left the Democratic party on her own. As befits a woman who voluntarily chose to become a member of a religion with a social hierarchy unalterably fixed by traditional inheritance.

Well, we know what Don Jr. thinks:

Yeah, that one. Doubt you'd be so dismissive if it was your wife and your kids in that house.
Are you feeling sympathy for Paul Pelosi?

I think it’s a lovers quarrel

Here’s your chance to be on the record.
Hitting Pelosi with a hammer is a serious crime, so, yeah, lots of time in prison. Attempted murder.

What bothers me about it are the circumstances. How did the guy get in the house? High security, no break-in. The guy was in his underwear. The guy was announced by Pelosi to the 911 operator as "a friend." What's going on there? Weird.
