America and Europe have deviated a bit. What do you think of your oldest allies.

I don't think we've deviated as much as it may seem. I think we can all agree there are some good arguments on both sides of the Iraq debate, if that's the deviation you're talking about.

Perhaps you should be asking how they view themselves or how Europeans view them? That would be more productive as we already are aware of the contempt that they hold Europe and other traditional societies in.

I have no problem with Europeans. I have never had a grudge against them, and have never had a reason to. I have heard of many people that may disagree, and treat them differantly, even suspect them of a crime or disturbance before anyone else simply because they come from a differant country. I think this is wrong.

My only real grudge is with France. Ungrateful flamers...

I think Europeans are decent people. The European and American governments on the other hand you can't completely trust because they revolve around protecting their own interests. But I think Europe has a rich and wonderful history, the people are good and decent generally speaking and have much to offer. I also think we should maintain good relations with Europe and respect their point of view even if it is different from our own.

too broad a region to generalize over
but they are necessary partners, whether we like it or not
Love many countries, particualarly the people
hate the pompous snooty obnoxious 'holier than thou' french
