In some regions, cabbage used to be the traditional meal in the 1800's but it's not very common where my family comes from.

Turnips and Parsnips are much more common.

Turnips and parsnips are very very good when simmered in butter, white pepper and sea salt..... :mrgreen:
 
The weddings off Tucker my genes are sacrosanct and boot cut, and dont deny your niece Concepta puts baby Osbert in the salad crisper to sleep, I thought he was a raddish:)
 
Liverpool my home city is classed as the second capital of Ireland we are called scousers and we are hated by the rest of Britian.

They think we only eat scouse.

Tonight it was a Kurobuta Center cut pork chop rubbed with a chipotle, NM hatch mild and NM Sandia hot green chile powder based dry rub, simply grilled to perfection and topped with roasted and diced hatch NM green chile.It was served over an authentic NM green chile salsa and topped with red onion and a slice of roasted Poblamo pepper.

On the side I had grilled plantains and heirloom tomatoes, pinto refried beans with shredded manchego, chedder and queso blanco cheeses, stuffed and roasted in a Poblamo pepper

Tonight I intend to have a big ole Kobe ribeye from the Japanese restaurant down the street.

I don't really care what I have with it.
 
Not Dinner but for breakfast I had:


A local farmhouse 2 egg Cajun Andouille, crawfish, and NY cheddar omlette.
