What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

I have been craving a BLT with garden tomatoes lately. I don't have a garden this year, but I bought a local tomato and made myself a BLT without the L because I didn't have any on hand. Added Swiss and light mayo. Pringles on the side. It was good. I made my wife a grilled ham and Swiss.
I hope you fed the kid something. :)

We had some dipping veg in the fridge, and, having watched 5 star chef on netflix, I thought I ought to try lentil hummus. I played around with the recipe a bit and spiced it up with roasted peppers. Yum.
Too hot for anything else.

I'll have to try lentil humus. I've made chickpea humus and like that a lot.

Shredded Chicken Burritos, Tortilla Chips, Chili con queso.

First time shredding chicken in a blender...wow. It took like 3 seconds, and was 10x better than by hand (with forks the few times I did it).

The dogs had a little rice, shredded chicken, and broth with their dinner.

Have you seen The Menu? I don't look at eating out quite the same after that.

First I thought you meant the menu at the Langham but I looked up The Menu. No I haven't but that is going on the watch list.
Years ago I questioned a celebrity complaining about eating out because of all the sweat and spittle going on. We have come to the same conclusion.
Then I had that underarm using waitress episode.
We stay in unless we have no other choice. I love to cook, we like what I am fixing, we are good.

That film was hilarious in its skewering of fixed-menu pretentious restaurants.

I was rooting for the death count.
