What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

I should have put a caveat on my yesterday’s post when I said I loved seafood. I should’ve added except bluefish. For me it’s too oily and unless it’s cooked right it’s a no go.
It was prepared with a sauce made with lemon juice, zest and garlic and parsley, basil and chives. Sharon found it online where lots of good recipes can be found. We all eat what we like and enjoy. This thread celebrates good food, memories and gathering around the table in friendship, hospitality, culture, mourning, community and congenial conversation. Cooking is a love language, promotes unity and generosity of spirit. Even a dish that failed to delivered is remembered with humor and a family story. That's what this thread means to me whether or not I like the cuisine.

Sorry. No offense intended. Your post reminded me of my saying I loved seafood.

That should offset the oily taste

Youtube is our new best friend.

Yes M'am. Every single time. This is where vegetarians and meat eaters come to gather and speak our common language.

I'm with gman on bluefish but super fresh makes a big difference. They're good fighters tho, fun to fish.

And love the rest of your post.

Your opinion. on blue fish doesn't matter to me.I don't judge your likes. I'm cool with them.

Forage in the nearest wooded area. Its better on the budget. If you are a city dweller - dumpster dive in the McDonalds parking lot.
Well dinner wasn't much better than foraging in the dumpster at McD's ...... old frozen hot dogs, no buns, fried rice from leftover plain rice, tomato bisque from Costco, which isn't that great and two Bing cherries each ..... the last of the bag of Washington cherries. Those were the best part of dinner. Tomorrow I'll do better, the kids (50 year olds) and maybe the grand kids are coming for ham, three bean salad, homemade baked beans in my grandmothers antique York bean pot, watermelon and chocolate cake with ice cream.

I think I will be over to 'forage' ;)
