What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

We had Steak n Shake today because I wanted to try their shoestring fries now being fried in beef tallow. They were awesome. Crispy and delicious!
 
We ate at Parker’s BBQ in Wilson, NC. I had the small BBQ plate w/ cole slaw, hush puppies, and corn sticks, and unsweetened ice tea. Wife had the small fried chicken plate w/ fries and green beans. The pork bbq was good, hush puppies good, Cole slaw was a mustard vinegar base which I’d never had before and was just okay. Personally, I like the mayo or mayo vinegar based better. The best part was it all only cost $20.50! We were both full.
 
We spent most of the day wrangling a dam and her puppies, 5 of them, until the dog warden managed to get to our neck of the woods. We fed them and gave them temp shelter.
Being all exhausted, we heated up servings of leftover lentil soup.
We'll be sore tomorrow.
 
Bacon and eggs, kale salad, bit of kimchi. No bread.

For dessert I had a keto brownie with keto chocolate and raspberry pudding.

Spray the fries with cooking spray, air fry in a single layer for ~ 12 minutes and they come out perfect. I use the megazone for it.
If you use a single zone, turn them over halfway through. Perfect fries, every time, both Arby's curly fries and Checkers/Rally's.

Getting an air fryer is still on my list. My wife has hit pause on it for now. Thank you for the suggestion, though. I'm hoping that we eventually get one. Marking this for future reference.

This one cleans easily and it is great for single meals because of the dual zones.
Tofu, it comes out perfectly crisp.

I only know of a couple places that get tofu right. One is a Thai restaurant that I need to put on the list again.
 
Beef and noodles. Hubby loved it. Went for seconds. I didn't think it was all that great. I'll give it ⭐⭐ out of 5.
