Last time I checked I am a registered Republican with center-right beliefs. But yeah, it is easy to pin me as a liberal or a Democrat nowadays.

I agree that Biden is no saint, but re-electing Donald Trump is a new level of moral indecency.

She was a shitty candidate. Whether or not she was a shitty person is a matter of personal observation, though I don’t have an opinion on that one way or the other.

Correct. Harris does have dark patches in her record, but nothing coming close to Trump. If morality was an issue for voting, Trump would have never won the popular vote, electoral college, and carried 31 states.

The conversation is about morality, and whether it still matters. That was the point of the article. Trump is a candidate with a history of sexual misconduct, fraud, provoking violence and chaos, lying, and committing slander.

This is not a conversation about Harris. It's a question about how Americans view morality.

I don't know. I don't think that she was that horrible of a candidate. The three states that swung the most from blue to red weren't battleground states.

Of course it’s a conversation about Harris. How can you justify Trump being elected without looking at who he was running against? Trump’s election was less a comment about the morality of America as it was a comparison of two horrible candidates that in normal times wouldn’t be anywhere near a ballot.
