If we are all god's children and a brotherhood of man, why do we kill each other like vermin? Why is there so much hatred involved with religion that comes from religion? The jews are hated, the Muslims are hated, the Catholics are hated the protestants are hated, everyone hates everyone else when it comes to religion because they all believe only they have the true religion, then comes the violence to prove it. I see all these folks today attending their place of worship and I wonder why, why do so many believe in something that has never been proven to exist.

If god the father, god the son and god the holy ghost are all one, when jesus supposedly died on a cross, didn't that kill the other two since they are all one. Confusing no?

Half the good Christians on here drip venom towards others and can't understand when people like me challenge them.

"Love thy neighbor" is a slogan.


The Christians I traveled with hated anything not Christian. Especially gays and transgendered.

Now "hate" is what I call a sin. What's worse? Hating your neighbor or screwing his wife? And what does that matter when the priests and pastors are screwing children?

In the end it is why I abandoned that faith and ultimately god entirely. God is a weapon the weak use to control the tribe, it is fear, not respect based.

I had the following comment from a drug/addict prostitute in my evangelical days:

"can someone tell me how I am supposed to find love for the man who systematically raped me for four years in my church? How am I supposed to not blame him for the drug use and becoming a prostitute?"

Don't quote bible verse to me unless you can tell me who wrote it, when and why it was written. The first thing you hear in bible college is that "context is everything". Christians LOVE hurling bible quotes they THINK might mean something to the conversation but don't.

What I LOVE about Christians is that they forget that Jesus' first apostle was a woman! Yep. The woman at the well, "now go, and tell them I have come." He sent her out long before the men got their commissions.

You don't digest hat is told, you regurgitate what has been taught before by men who had everything invested in being the head of the church...and still do.
