Just wondering if as a State should help save this Historical Ship. I think we should help then again am a lover of the past.

Kalakala

No. The state really should not be spending money on such projects that the people themselves have every freedom to support, or not, as they choose.

Money taken from the people by force should not be spent frivolously.

I couldn't agree more. We need to focus our state's limited resources on our crumbling roads and bridges and investing in our future (educating our children) right now. Prioritize, people!

So saving a bit of history is considered "frivolous" huh...How much has been spent to save the original US Constitution? DoI? Are those "frivolous" also?

the ferry is of no substantial historical importance... leave it to private investors to preserve it or not.
