Walmart, Amazon, McDonalds, Dollar Tree, FedEx Rely On Having Workers On SNAP And Medicaid

Government assistance is something that millions of Americans rely on. This is not simply an issue of people who have gainful employment versus those who do not. This is an issue of income inequality, stagnating wages, and employers who rely on welfare to heighten their profit margins. Tens of millions of military families rely on SNAP assistance to make ends meet. Politicians like Sen. Bernie Sanders have called for the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to study the relationship between federal assistance programs and employers.

On Nov. 18, GAO released their findings on the millions of Americans who work for such low wages that they must rely on federal assistance programs to scrape by. Contradicting the conservative racist and classist fairytale, 70% of Americans receiving federal assistance in some form or another work full time.

This is a multifacited situation where lefties cherry pick their facts. Much of the problem has to do with the workers, not the employers. Most of these people only want to work part time so they don't make enough to live on and need government benefits. That's not the employer's fault that these people don't want to work full time. Yes, many of these places only want part time workers but that doesn't change the fact that the workers themselves don't want to work full time.

Corporations do not hoard cash. There is literally no value to hoarding cash. From a successful business perspective you should know that. All you are doing right now is regurgitating the tired leftist line and frankly...its embarrassing. Its the same kind of stupid shit rich Hollywood types say about the 'wealthy'. Its the same type of stupid shit rich leftists politicians say about the wealthy. Its comical how readily you fall for it.

Of course, the big corporations are hoarding wealth (not cash), and pay piss poor wages for labor. They're only valued at trillions.

True story, back in the day Wal-mart actually had it in their employee handbook that they should apply for SNAP and Medicaid.
They were shamed into taking it out.
But the philosophy remains the same as it ever was.

Classic.

First you list a bunch of organizations OWNED And RAN by leftists, people that support solely leftist politicians, and then you lie about their wages. Gates is a douchebag...but he pays his skilled employees very well, plus he offers them stock options. The people that dont make high wages are the unskilled employees...you know...the people YOU treated like shit as an employer...and THEY are average 40k a year (top en average is 320k) Apple...same thing. Their design people get paid very well. Unskilled employees make I daresay better than what YOU offered. The average yearly income at Amazon runs from 40k to 185k (with bonus and options).

How do you know what I paid my employees?

How do you know what I paid my employees?
You admitted you paid your unskilled employees inadequate wages.

Quote me.
"I never said every employee was the sole income earner for a family, about 60% were younger lower-wage workers but I still paid above minimum wage."

Did you miss the bolded part?

Big gesture. You admit you didnt pay your employees a liveable wage, even breaking that down to the excuse that not all your employees were primary wage earners so you can justify paying them less than, then you bitch about corporations all of whom pay MORE than minimum wage without knowing the first thing about their workforce. At 40k a year minimum average, I'd bet money they paid a helluva lot more than you did for your unskilled staff.

I said I did pay a livable wage that nobody ever had to get a second job. Why are you lying?

I quoted your exact words. YOu paid your low skilled workers less than...and that was 60% of your workforce. You also threw the caveat in there that your employes werent all primary breadwinners so THEY didnt have to make a liveable wage either. SO...lets go with your pretense...you interviewed each employee and rather than pay them what the job and market called for, you did a budget with each of them and paid them according to their needs...not the job.

SHOOOOOOOOOOORE you did.

I paid my low skilled workers less than what? You make up shit to suit your supposition.

I cited YOUR exact words.
"I never said every employee was the sole income earner for a family, about 60% were younger lower-wage workers but I still paid above minimum wage."

You are a crack up. IF....IF you actually ran a business as you claim and your business was successful you paid workers what the market demanded. You didnt sit down with each of them and assess their needs and pay them a 'liveable' wage based off THEIR needs....you paid based on what the job demands called for. Worse...for all the whining and crying you are making about corporations, the facts show they took far better care of their employees than YOU did.

I paid well above min wage and far beyond your analysis of my comments. But keep espousing your nonsense, it's comical.

Ah. Now its WELL ABOVE minimum wage...for your unskilled employees...

🤣

Where did I say it wasn't?
"I never said every employee was the sole income earner for a family, about 60% were younger lower-wage workers but I still paid above minimum wage."

Tell us another story about how you sat down with each employee and did a budget and helped them determine what their appropriate pay was based on their living needs.....

I say the solution is to bring in millions of workers from crappy countries that will work for even lower wages. Plus they can become the majority here and show us how to turn this country into an absolute disaster just like their country that they came from. Then some other country will be the economic great place. Then we can run tail between our legs over to the new great country.
