[R.I.P.] [W: #81] Jimmy Carter has died at 100 years old

I'll be surprised if he acknowledges.
Of course he will. That's ridiculous. And you will be here afterwards picking apart his comments word for word.

Just using history as a guide. History is the best way to predict the future.

I challenge you to find a post where I was not 'objective'.........
It would be harder to find one where you were. :ROFLMAO:

One of the best Americans ever.

Not a great president, however a very decent person and and honorable ex-president for his efforts with Habitat for Humanity. Glad he made it to 100.
Agreed. His dedication to Habitat for Humanity was great. His Presidency was weak and anemic. His solution for high energy prices was to suggest people turn the heat down and wear sweaters for example.

Carter is ranked 20 places above trump since 1796
Those that are creating that ranking are doing it with extreme bias. Pure politics. Name the thing that Carter did well. I will just go ahead and name it for you. The camp David accords. That was a farce. Israel and Egypt had already come to a peace agreement. They simply allowed Carter to pretend to do something and commit the US to giving billions to both countries for perpetuity. If you hate that the US has been giving Israel billions every year then blame Carter.

In foreign affairs, Carter set his own style. His championing of human rights was coldly received by the Soviet Union and some other nations. In the Middle East, through the Camp David agreement of 1978, he helped bring amity between Egypt and Israel. He succeeded in obtaining ratification of the Panama Canal treaties.
Carter elevated and institutionalized human rights as a component of foreign-policy decision making and brought increased attention to global human rights abuses. The administration also completed the normalization of relations with China in 1979, initiated during the Nixon administration.
The Carter Center has prevented the suffering of millions of people around the world from illnesses often ignored by others. Health programs seek to provide people with the information and access to services they need to treat their illnesses and take steps to prevent future spread of disease.

ALL historians/groups rank Carter way above Trump

Thank goodness this kind and wonderful man will be laid to rest under a Biden presidency.

There you go. Camp David accords. Do you like how we have been sending to Israel, billions of dollars every year?

Increased attention to global human rights? Seriously? He brought attention to it. Pfft.

The Carter center is not his Presidency so. Ignored.
