[W: #795] At least three people have been shot at the homes of Minnesota Democrats in overnight attacks by a gunman posing as cop

OK. I'll do that so you can see it. The J6 insurrection was organized and instigated by people from the right. With your Dear Leader at the top of the heap. Now the Dear Leader has pardoned all of the imprisoned/arrested rioters so they are free to riot again. By and large the MAGAs seem to be happy with this.
And the BLM riots and the ICE riots were organized and instigated by people from the left.
That you think your pathetic excuses for the people on your side rioting are carrying any weight is hilarious.

But let’s recap here.
I said correctly that it wad people from your party out there throwing bricks at cops and state and whine well it’s not the whole party.

While at the same time you claim a riot that involved a few thousand people means all republicans are responsible.

It’s almost like you can’t see the stupidity in your own posts.

And there is a list of left wing violence to match.

By the way, it doesn't look good when your list of right wing violence is padded with acts that weren't carried out by right wingers...

Or listing riots that pale in comparison to riots that raged this past weekend in support of left wing causes...
OK, I have read your defensive comments on this thread. Since you like to keep pointing us elsewhere, let me ask you straight up:
Will you still be sticking around on THIS thread if.............. and yes, I am saying if............... the shooter does end up being a rightwing fruitcake?
And to answer your question in reverse: I will still say it was a disgrace if it ends up as some mental health individual or a leftwing fruitcake, and I will make NO apologies if it is so. It will be interesting to see if you can say the same if it is a rightwinger.

Something inspired him to do what he did. And his actions will inspire others.

Do locals call it "murderapolis"? Apparently so...

And in 2022 when "Murderapolis" came back in fashion the murders in the city were just shy of their mid-90s peak, back when the nickname was originally coined.

See? Like I said, your job is to run air cover for @Metric Mouse. And being a loyal little foot soldier, you will dutifully do as you are told.

Their children. ****, their poor kids.

They have two children. I don't know what their ages are. It's horrible to think the children were at home when this happened.

Yeah, it's quite possible it was the kids that discovered the deceased, dying, or injured parents, and had to called 911.

It'll be the fault of mental illness if it is a white supremacist, or MAGA or Republican, and a left winger activist terrorist if not.

This is the script. They aren't deviating.

Walz says it looks to be politically motivated.
Unlike Tim Walz?
I guess we're supposed to assume something cause the knucklehead himself ain't saying in what way precisely.
Besides, assassination attempts have been coming from Timpon's crowd.
Vile.

"I did what leaders do... I stepped up and I got the job done for the people of Minnesota."

Hortman and her husband were k*lled shortly after this video was taken in their home. Police believe it was politically motivated.

The video you posted very clearly was not taken in Hortman’s home, and was recorded 4 days ago.

Oh shit...

“Given the targeted shootings of state law lawmakers that happened overnight, we are asking the public to not attend today’s planned demonstrations across Minnesota out of an abundance of caution,” Bogojevic said during a news conference Saturday while adding that “there were some flyers that said, ‘no kings’ within the suspect vehicle.”

Whaaaaa? A white male killing people ?!? In Minnesota?!?!?!

But what about innercity violence, have we talked about that?
Sort of there was the whole Murderapolis bullshit up yonder in the thread

Something inspired him to do what he did. And his actions will inspire others.
For example, when Luigi Mangione shot and killed Brian Thompson, a lot of people in the US learned that if you kill people that are generally disliked, even if you get caught, you'll be a hero to many.

Lol, they have their twitter script and they are running with it. We don't know the reason Democrats were killed, but they know it was cause they voted with Republicans once or twice.

Right Angle News told them so!

😄
And if this ends up being BS, they'll then pretend they never said such a thing. (And you'll be branded the asshole for bringing it back up.)

It does. The above post has since been edited. There is no proof Hoffman voted with the Senate. Lighten up, Francis. Lots of speculation going around. Carry on with your "fun".

Hoffman didn't vote for it? So then there goes @Napoleon 's desperate theory.

Because large cities dominate the county statistics for the counties that they are in. Unless you can think of a location where the murder rate is higher in the suburbs...
There are statistics for cities. The article you cited examined counties, which makes it suspect claiming it looked at cities, but I don't dispute the numbers.

My point is in the subset used. There are suburbs with larger populations than main cities. I mentioned the Salt Lake area. Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas, is quite a bit larger than Salt Lake City, the population center.

Metro areas give a better representation of regional crime.

And you mentioned that the crime rate is overrepresented in less populated cities. Does that mean Minneapolis' crime rate is overrepresented compared to larger cities?

Also, moving the goal posts from murder rate to crime rate doesn't do anything.
I was addressing this from you, which contains the link I'm referring to:

In the end, what I was wrong about was that the subset of 100 largest cities is kind of top heavy in Murder rate, so raking 42nd is 8 spots above median, but that placement is actually represents ~70% higher than average murder rate for large cities, which is higher than I expected. The average large city murder rate in 10.5/100,000 and Minneapolis was 17.9/100,000 in 2024.

The point is that looking up a list of cities by population and the corresponding crime rates can be meaningful, but it can also be misleading. People living in Kansas City, MO are affected by crime in Kansas City, KS and vice-versa. Separating the two when comparing regions would be disingenuous.

This exactly what happens when the temperature of the political rhetoric is intentionally raised by republicans like Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi and FOX hosts. THIS is the result, innocent people die because of the job they hold. This was very predictable. It's not going to be the last murders to result from political raging. This is how the far-right settles their difference of opinions, with violence.

Noem has been ginning them up to also go after Newsom, Bass, and Chief McDonnel.
