If we did not have Political Parties.... We'd not have a problem choosing A Speaker of The House.
  • The Entire House of Representatives would be able to vote for who will be Speaker of The House. (as it should be!!)
 
It should be a maximum of 3 vote cycles and if no one has won,... then the Entire House gets to vote!!!

The Government and the Responsibility to the Constitution, is more important than any one man.

This was the challenge from the beginning, and from a leadership perspective he's already lost the very first battle. It's safe to assume the Speaker's role under this session of the House will likely be filled with this kind of obstinance, so what's needed is someone with the ability to reign the outliers in; McCarthy's already proven he's not the one.

After years of groveling and debasing himself, will his speakership be worth the price?
I know, I know...... we're talking about a spineless worm here, but even worms have dignity......I think.

On Jan 7, 2021 he was holding Trump responsible for the insurrectuon. By 31 Jan, 2021 he was in FL kissing Fat Donnys ample behind.

I am no fan of Mitch, but he has never wavered in who he holds responsible for Jan 6, 2021.

Even two years of unprecedented bi-partisan legislation isn’t good enough for you. There’s nothing lol about what the next two years will bring unless you like government shutdowns and and debt defaults.
