We are sick and tired of RINOs like McConnell, Cheney, Huntsinger, Romney, etc. especially if they are the Speaker. Finally, the People through the HFC, have a voice instead of the uniparty voice they all want, so they can get money for their states and pet projects and probably under-the-table money.

And, that’s right, this is nothing new.

It’s the same collection of cracks and crackpots who hamstrung Ryan and Boehner. The faces have changed a bit. Tea party/trumpster types tend not to last too long. No substance.

The only difference is that it’s now out there on live TV.

As for what this crowd wants. They don’t really have a platform. They don’t stand for anything at all.

They’re just in opposition for the sake of being on tv and looking like they have some real power.

All the more reason to make sure they have none.

Hearing rumblings that they are getting close. As soon as they settle on McCarthy we can proceed with swearing in Navy SEAL, secret agent, astrophysicist, Julliard/Le Cordon Bleu/MIT/Trump U grad, Nobel Prize winnner, and all around swell guy Santos!

Most of them are either one term members, or people who have yet to take the oath of office. Led by a few total crackpots. People who have never made any kind of positive contribution to our government. Some, like Matt Gaetz, aren’t even interested in governing. Preferring grandstanding and fundraising over actually being a Congressman.

It should not escape anyone’s notice that this group consists entirely of co conspirators and supporters of a plot to overthrow the government.

Nor, have any of these people haven’t even articulated any kind of policy position.

There is a reason that you don’t see them standing together and holding press events to outline their goals and the reason for their oppositions.

They don’t really have anything to say. Obstruction for the sake of obstruction.

There ‘s no point in negotiating with these people.

The only real play is to keep calling the question until they wear down. They are outnumbered nine to one.

They have no plans. They have no platform. They have nothing.

It’s time to make that clear.

Otherwise, whatever excuse for a deal that anyone makes with these cranks will collapse the moment they have to raise the debt ceiling.

Remember though, the 20 are fund-raising like crazy over this. It's in their personal financial & political interest to keep going. It's what their constituents want, it's what motivates their constituents to throw more money at them.

This the first time C-Span has covered the floor so extensively and in-depth.

Ordinarily when Congress is in session, the cameras are worked by Congressional personal with their particular privacy and security modus operandi.

Since Congress is not in session, the normal M.O. does not apply and C-Span is operating their own cameras and in far more liberal fashion.

Usually in these instances pre-session events would see a mere perfunctory event, and then thereafter Congress would be in session with the more conservative Capitol employee camera coverage. This time we are finally seeing the sausage making that would ordinarily have been completed behind closed doors.

I think the Dems are tight as a drum.

Unless they get a deal that benefits them all, I don't see them getting involved. Why would they? There's no upside without a deal.
 
So who are the remaining holdouts besides Gaetz and Boebert? It's time to know who the real bomb throwers are.
