Depends on the forest, actually. Lots of weed is grown in the forests in the Pacific Northwest. But it’s primarily conifer so chemical warfare against competing plants, not sun denial like in deciduous ones.

If you are asking for a link to the applicant fire fighter turned arsonist, I haven't been able to find it. It happened a long time ago. If you are asking for a link on firefighter arson, here's one, and there are others. Google.

I meant a link to the case you're claiming happened in California. Of course you couldn't find it, because it didn't happen. As for the rare cases of firefighter arson, those are wholly those with hero complexes or disgruntled former employees.

So new report is that they've found a deceased male with a rifle nearby and they're lifting the shelter in place.

Of course my question is, are they sure that's the shooter or did the shooter come upon this guy and shot him.

Since the arrests, White says people have been phoning in death threats to his department from as far away as Norway.

Pretty obvious who the culprits are.
