Police officers and other critics are slamming Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for refusing to seek bail for the rowdy migrants arrested after allegedly being caught on camera attacking NYPD cops in Times Square.

Veteran police officers fumed to The Post Saturday that Bragg made a mockery of the entire justice system by letting five migrants walk after they were arraigned Wednesday on charges of second-degree assault on a police officer and obstruction of governmental administration in the shocking Jan. 27 beatdown.

“Alvin Bragg just showed all New Yorkers that the Police Department doesn’t matter to him,” said an NYPD detective with more than two decades on the job.

“What this does is open the window for all people to say we can beat up cops and nothing is going to happen to us. Thanks, Mr. Bragg.”

They are not sending anyone. These countries are not sending people here. People from those countries are coming here for various reasons. There is no evidence of Trump’s claim that countries send their undesirables to us.

Man's inhumanity to man is often astounding. I'm at a loss, with this one. To incinerate a sleeping women, defies all sense of humanity.

To think I used to occasionally nap or doze, when I regularly took public transportation. I suspect many of us have. Imagine dozing one minute, and waking-up ablaze the next. And apparently, the assailant sat on a nearby bench and calmly watched his victim writher and expire. Shocking.

Of course they are hoping they come here. You don't see them discouraging them, do you?
For instance, Mexico's economy largely benefits from remittances sent back by their people who are in our country without permission.

No, it isn’t and no one ever implies that it is. Crime statistics don’t clearly show any more danger of crimes being committed by citizens vs. non citizens, no matter how they are here. These stories are always brought up to imply that those who enter illegally are more likely to commit crimes because they are the undesirables sent to us by other .
countries. The crime of entering a country illegally does not mean that the person who does so is more likely to commit other crimes. Like anyone else, it depends on why they came into the country. Just as being a legal citizen tells us nothing about a person’s propensity to commit a crime.

More info...the woman was homeless...everybody craps on the homeless, treats them as less than human, my God but they're hated...they get raped...they get beaten, murdered...even solen from, amazingly...they get ejected and "moved on," they're unwanted...and now...they're set on fire. WTF??????

And the sick bastard who set her on fire came to the U.S. in 2018 but they still haven't released his name.

Yeah.. that was a fight that the NYPD started…. And they pinched at least one wrong guy maybe two… can’t remember the complete details… but the picture of the guy flipping off the camera that got the right wing media all riled up.. that dude was completely innocent. They picked up the wrong guy.

As far as Bragg… this crime happened in Brooklyn so Bragg doesn’t have anything to do with it.

It’s like people don’t have any idea how the city works or something.
