Just more Corporate Capitalism.
As for unions and who they hire and from where... not her business. If she wanted to run a business, she should have opened one.
Perhaps a bunch of illegals should be hired instead of her constituents in Westechester... errr the Bronx.
I really can't understand the love that individual Republicans have for corporations. They're not serving their interests, unless their interests are to enrich the Jeff Bezos of the world while their sons and daughters live a life of debt slavery.
She's absolutely right. Letting giant corporations pay nearly zero tax, far less than the average Mom or Pop shop would pay is totally disgusting. Cities are racing to the bottom to offer more and more goodies to corporations, and the corporations are using it as a weapon to squeeze every bit of juice out of it they can. There's nothing socialistic about telling Amazon they should be paying the actual tax rate like everybody else.
Just more Corporate Capitalism.
She’s a world-class dimwit,
I would have to agree with you. Special tax breaks and privileges for big business impedes small business.
It's not difficult to see where Ocasio-Cortez is coming from, and she's hardly alone. New York's infrastructure is in serious trouble, and it just gave 1.5 billion in tax breaks to a company to hire 25,000 employees by 2028.
But maybe someone more economic-minded can see the big picture better than me.
Heck, California gave Disney the greatest deal for building it’s Disneyland (or is it Disneyworld?) theme park in that state. Disney land pays little if any property taxes.

The big picture is that it’s 25,000 more employees with six-figure salaries who will be paying taxes. Additionally, the tax break is incremental and tied directly to job creation among other commitments.

How many of those are six figure incomes? I looked up the average salary and it's around 28k.

Will she principled and refuse any donations to her re-election campagian from Amazon or anyone affiliated with the company in till there special tax rates are revoked?
I'd bet she will happily accept any that come her way
like yourself,,,, difference is, she has already done more with her life than you
You want to abolish corporations? They exist. They’re legal. They provide jobs.
Are you a Luddite?
If they did not serve the interests of their clients, they would expire. Cede to exist. Be no more. Be ex-corporations. Die.
You see, these breaks are given due to the jobs and revenue they bring. If no competition existed, states could **** you every which way they like. This way, some cities make themselves attractive... despite their Socialist perversions.
Me... I howled when I read what the DIMWIT-CORTEZ said. And she studied economics... ROTFLOL.
She's a Justice Democrat that takes no big corporate or PAC money so there goes your theory!:lamo
