[W;440]Capitol goes into lockdown as Trump supporters breach barriers and clash with law enforcement while Congress debates election challenges

True enough, and the MAGAs did their best to steal this one. If the courts did as Texas and 18 other GOP STATES asked, the entire election would have been annulled, all 160 million votes, and then Congress would have anointed the next POTUS just like in a shithole banana republic.

Because they abrogated their own election laws unconstitutionally. The executive and judicial branches don't make election law, the legislature does...except in Pennsylvania.

Arent you the one that wants to disarm the populace, too? You are indeed a tyrant, you want people that can't fight back and won't talk back. One amongst many here, you feel civl liberties only exist for who you decide they exist for. But to be fair, you are a petty, narrow minded tyrant.
Disarm? I own three guns and am at the range all the time. Good thing I stocked up on ammo before the shortage hit

Oh wait.....you put all people like me in the commie libruls box. Lol

No judge in America believes you

4 years. That's how long you bunch of sorry, whining progressives look, maybe Ill take 2 weeks and you'll still be bitching.

Fyi: I'm a former Republican and a moderate. And based on cringey posts like yours, leaving the GOP was the best thing I ever did.

You lose. Sorry, Charlie. It's over.

Hillary conceded the day after the election. It's been months since the election, and your two weeks was over in November.

Biden is going to be your President in a few days. That's the truth you can't handle.
You pathetic political partisan, I have no trouble handling Biden as a President. I have to work for a living, my concern is the utterly stupid policies he ran on to get the leftist lunatics to buy into his campaign. I am up to my ass in reality, this place is a diversion, at best.

Pardon me if I call those lies because I haven't seen you hold or espouse a single Republican idea on this site...ever.

Meanwhile I expect the sorest winners ever to exist on the planet to keep running victory laps and blaming Trump for Biden's failures well into 2024.

You pathetic political partisan

Your damn right I'm a partisan. Especially what happened yesterday when your friends engaged in an act of sedition.

I have no trouble handling Biden as a President.

Based on your posts recently, it seems like you are having a tough time accepting reality.

Okay. Have fun!

It seems you have some weird experiences with your bedroom's puppets

Its funny you should speak like its utterly normal to have puppets in a bedroom. I am a grown human being, no puppets in the bedroom. How weird.

There is a reason for that. When you have someone like Trump, someone trying to destroy our institutions and shit on the Constitution and destroy the Rule of Law...policies just don't matter that much, okay? The Republic is more than any particular policy. And Trump and his deranged supporters who stormed the Capitol yesterday represent an existential threat to the Republic. What good is it if the tax rate is 20% or 30% when your Congress is being assaulted by a bunch of uneducated, moronic, conspiracy-believing, Q-anon, pro-Trump lunatics?

You cant be a partisan leftist AND moderate AND Republican, don't make it so easy to catch you in the lie next time.

So, because it's your opinion or that of Texas, not proved in any court, that the PA Supreme Court overstepped its authority in interpreting state law and the PA constitution that the millions of voters in PA should all have their votes trashed, discarded, and the election annulled, so that the PA legislature or Congress gets to pick the next President?

Again, the relief requested by Texas and 18 other red STATES for this alleged violation of the constitution, not proved in any court, was to literally annul the entire election for President - trash all 160+ million votes. And all those voters cast their votes in accordance with the laws in place at that time. It's a breathtaking claim, really. That's the kind of result that WOULD happen in a shithole banana republic, not in a nation of laws.

Nah, you are just lying.

That means 60% are ok with the election (based on your statement).

Didn't Georgia recount the ballots 3 times, have an independent inspection of the equipment, hand counted ballots with the same results as the machines? Georgia's report pretty much refuted Team Trump's concerns point by point. . AZ check produced the same for AZ

That said, why would one do another investigation based on what Team Trump says. Their allegations are not supported by the evidence.
Again, let's chat when you've recovered from your TDS

You were the one talking about puppet sex.

Not 160+ million, but several thousand cast in PA because they were illegal by the US and PA constitution. PA had a chance at a remedy before the election by not circumventing the legislature who has the actual authority to pass election voting laws. Not the judiciary, not the executive----the legislature. The remedy should be harsh for violating the PA and US constitutions.

You might want to reconsider that first line...

As to the content, lots of us who voted for Biden aren't leftist lunatics, we just 1) believe Trumpism is a cancer that had to be excised at any cost, and 2) disagree on policies.

Every time a Democrat is elected, we hear the same horror stories about how they will destroy the country and yet, the country does fine. Bush II ran the country into a ditch, and Obama presided over YEARS of economic and employment growth, stock market growth, and handed off a stable, growing economy. Clinton left W. an economy also with years of solid growth across the board in jobs, GDP, markets. So why would a rational person believe the scare mongers about how Democrats are going to ruin the country? There is no evidence of it being true. What Biden is, basically, is a centrist, slightly left of Trump, and not a batshit crazy, incompetent, narcissistic sociopath who lies like the rest of us breath and surrounded himself with deplorables.

That's false, actually. If SCOTUS granted the relief sought by Texas, the entire election would have been thrown to Congress. Read the lawsuit if you're confused about this.

And the thing is no court held that any votes in PA were "illegal", several decisions upheld the voting scheme in PA, and the Texas lawsuit didn't ask to throw out just a few thousand votes, cast by voters according to the LAW in place at that time, but the ENTIRE PA and Presidential election.

"at any cost" includes cheating at an election JasperL, maybe you should rethink that one.
