We watched Floyd's face and eyes for minutes as he died. Nobody complained it was too graphic, there were just insults thrown about him being a criminal and that he could breath fine. We also watched Arbery hunted down and shot as he fought for his life, and saw his autopsy photos. Too gory? And we saw Grosskreutz's arm exploded and the other 2 Rittenhouse shootings in explicit detail from multiple angles. If there were video of the Lincoln assassination or a better one of the JFK, they would also be shown here. We have a need to know what actually happened, regardless of the unpleasantness.

Fair enough.

It get's a little stickier in the larger-picture of societal benefits of cars vs guns, and that's where the argument arises.

Yeah I figured the video was ok to post. It is shocking but not posted for the gore value - it's newsworthy.

Definitely won't be shown on CBS Evening News though!
