[W:#23,579]Ukraine War Thread

Khodaryonok basically says 1500km border with Ukraine is indefensible, people in region in a deep panic, there is much criticism of Moscow, and State TV now reflects the hysteria.

The “Russian Volunteer Corps” has released a Video which is reported to show at least 10 Russian POWs which were Captured recently during Fighting in the Belgorod Region; with the RVC stating that a Prisoner Exchange which was planning to occur today at the Shebekino Border-Cross did not occur because the Governor of the Belgorod Region, Vyacheslav Gladkov did not show up, with them further stating that the Leader of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin is the only one who has showed “Courage” by announcing his Readiness to Negotiate with the Group.

Zelensky: 500 children killed since war began (probably more buried in Russian-dug mass graves in major Russian-occupied areas)

Ukraine forces advance near Svatove (Near Kharkiv Oblast border inside Luhansk Oblast)

Russian losses 7x greater then Ukraine losses in Bakhmut

Meanwhile, Solovyob broke down. He does not know how to tell the Russians about Shebekino, where the Russians invaded Russia, captured other Russians, with whom they fought for control of the Russian border.

This infighting is much to Ukraine's benefit

Former NATO General Buehler was asked a very interesting question in his last podcast.
Since Russia has built some rather Massive defense lines in Luhansk, would it be legal and possible to invade Russia and then swing back into Luhansk and attack those defense lines from the rear.
If one has listen to the podcast, then one can learn, how he says things, he does not like to BS, or speculate. But this time he got vague. Yes it is according to the laws of war completely legal, no problem there. Feasibility is where he got vague, yes that would be a idea, but then the incursions have mobilized Russian troops in that area and would make that very difficult. End of story of to the next subject.
I thought that was very interesting. Instead of his usual I cannot talk about it, he gave a very soft excuse/explanation for not doing so.
That could be a Kharkiv move, again.
It would explain to me the incursions, other wise they do not make sense to me.

Meanwhile, Russians evacuated from Shebekino are causing havoc at Belgorod State University, raping and sexually harassing students. Seems these guys have learned from the Russian military or could this just be the standard for behaviour?

Read numbers evacuated from these areas is over 40 K??

One of the rockets fired by #Russia seems to have struck in #Kharkiv region. Meanwhile another one didn't even manage to cross the border, showing a remarkable gesture of goodwill in denazifying itself in #Belgorod.

PMC Wagner detained and interrogated no other but the commander of the 72nd Brigade, Roman Venevitin. Wagner and the 72nd Brigade shared positions in Bakhmut. They detained the man, beat him, broke his nose, and forced to record a video admitting to firing at a car of PMC Wagner due to "personal animosity" towards them. They accuse him of being drunk while doing so, speaking to him as if he is a subordinate. This is a complete demoralisation of the Russian Armed Forces who should not be any close to tolerating such behaviour of a PMC.

Latvia handed over 66 cars taken from drunken drivers to Ukraine — Delfi. "According to the law, vehicles can be transferred to the ownership of Ukraine free of charge in order to prevent the consequences of an emergency situation related to hostilities. This is one of the ways of Latvia's assistance to Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression," the message emphasizes.
