I have a few I purchased myself at retail, but the largest part of mine went through who knows how many private sales before they arrived in my possession.

Shhhh, don't do their home work for them.
But, yes that's one way to lose the trail.

There is a difference between legal and illegal guns. Do you think these gangbangers would pass a background check. There are stiffer rules to own a gun in NYC then the rest of the state. I won’t doubt that the majority of the guns in NYC are illegal.

That's not who's guns the banners want. They want yours.

It would no longer be "The United States" if (God forbid!) that ever happened as far as I am concerned.

we would be in a civil war then, and I would plan on being on the winning side

Chillfolks you realize I almost swallowed my tongue?:peace

Okay Rich you see what I did?

=Rich2018;1072303743]Your use of the quote function failed you again

At first it was amusing now it's old. Give it up.
How do you perceive that your post might have been incompletely read ?

Well you blatantly admit to not ready Fledermaus' posts or only partially, why not mine as well?
Better still why don't you explain it.
I don't understand what "quote meme" means.

I can only assume you mean meme. Examples of memes include beliefs, fashions, stories, and phrases So I'll go with phrases. You keep going on about about quoting wrong. Quote meme, yeah that sounds good.
If you eliminate minors, the proportion of people that are incarcerated in the USA climbs still further.

You'd like that wouldn't you?

Because Obama is a decent man and was a good president.

He was so good taxpayers bought him a Nobel Peace Prize.
He might even have been a great president had he not been hamstrung by a hostile Congress.

How fortunate.

But seemingly it became hard again with post #36

Hmmm.

Because I regard his posts as worthless
I don't reply to them anymore, yet still he replies to mine, knowing I ignore them
Don't you think that just a little bit sad

Flash!! Any idea how many people think yours are worthless and not much more than trolling? Some are anti gun.
Maybe his cries for attention will stop if I ignore his posts for long enough, what do you think ?

Remember the saying... What goes around comes around.

I went through this and own guns. I live in NYS.
I had to take a safety class.
I had to go through a background check.
Every gun purchased has to be registered and listed on your permit.
To secure my concealed carry permit, it had to be approved by a judge.
I went further and have taken numerous instructional classes.

The problem is not with the legal gun owners. The problem is with the illegal gun owners.

Make that "illegal use", or better yet "criminal gun use".

In NYS not possible. You can not legally purchase a fire arm in NYS without a permit or the weapon being registered.

That is wonderful except that criminals, by definition, do not obey laws.

Perhaps eliminating cash bail and reduced law enforcement funding is a step in that direction.

Nah. Just give full out and eliminate laws. Criminals dont obeybthem anyway.....right?

What if...

1. You have to register each gun, just like you do a car, boat, or motorcycle. It's renewed every so often.

2. You have to have a valid license. To get this license, you have to pass a test. It's periodically renewed as well.

3. You have to undergo a background check.

Would you go through all this or just sell off your guns?

Neither.

BTW, #3 is already in place.

You haven't really clarified...but if I understand you correctly

If the 2nd amendment was repealed and guns banned, would you oppose the Constitution of the USA ?

Do you actually believe the Second Amendment will be repealed?

Nah. Just give full out and eliminate laws. Criminals dont obeybthem anyway.....right?

Laws are not intended to prevent crime, they are intended to be enforced to raise revenue and/or to remove dangerous criminals from the general population and transfer them to the prison population.

Yeah. Criminals dont obey them which was your point I believe

And it was used in a crime and recovered, then traced back to you ?

If someone stole your Prius, and ran over a bunch of BLM protesters on the freeway, should you be held responsible?

How do you know ?

How did you acquire them ?

I always wondered about why you persist in making provocative posts on this forum, no matter how many times you are pwnd. It suddenly dawned on me that you work for ATF.
