Self inflicted wounds that will bear horrible fruit eventually. I read a while ago that many reservists and pilots threatened not to serve.

Netanyahu (in my own uninformed opinion) seems to be more harm than good for Israel.

Its been years of kidnapping,torturing,raping women and children videoing it and rejoicing in the streets???

No this is a different type of evil. Wonder what you would be saying if this happened (g-d forbid) to your family. Pretty sure it would not be lets move on.

Cut it out and don't put words in my mouth. I said it's been years of the same, meaning conflict after conflict with no resolution and it has. I am no way trying to downplay the events of the last 48 hours so do not go there. That's a bullshit and dishonest debate tactic and reflects poorly on you.

You are pissed because I refuse to paint every single palestinian with the same brush. Well too bad. I've never done that with any group of people and I won't be starting now.

Lastly, don't bring my family into discussions here in such a dishonest way..

close. i give money to the homeless person becauase (s)he has no money
and (s)he knew me well enough to ask, despite it being a humbling experience to look someone in the eye and ask for money
and chances are they are not needing it for food because the discussion is conducted at the soup kitchen
and the other volunteers, those with the means to do so, also financially assist those homeless guests
i am as proud of helping these truly impoverished people as you are at denying them

israel is a nuclear equipped, developed nation
the Palestinians have very little in the way of armaments or the ability to develop Palestinian lands
yet it is israel which receives the billions in subsidies from the US

this is like funding the affluent volunteer at the soup kitchen while ignoring the plight of the homeless. it makes no sense

I suggest you calm the **** down and read what people are actually saying before getting your undies in a bunch. I'm not taking any crap from you.

A poster pretty much called for genocide. I replied and said that I won't be the one here justifying the mass murder of innocent people who had nothing to do with it.

What part of innocent people who had nothing to do with it do you not understand?

Regarding your great humanitarian comment.

It's not for everyone. You have to be able to stay human and not paint with a wide brush. Bigots and Sociopaths need not apply.

A. Israel is an American ally and the only democracy in the region.
B. Isolationism was never a useful policy for the U.S. It delayed entry into WWII, as an example.
C. Israel was attacked by Hamas (and now Hezbollah) who are guilty of unprovoked and unrestrained massacring of civilians. How can anyone sit on the sidelines?

The U.S. should support Israel in this time of need and also urge others in the region not to aid Hamas.

Israel is stocked to the hilt militarily. The only help they will be requesting is that everyone turn a blind eye and shut up to what they are about to do.

You put the words out there. The people you hold so dear have kept Hamas in power for nearly two decades. The only reason we have less dead Israelis dead is because of the iron dome.

There will be a time when Israel will no longer be able to hold back the hoards.

BTW some of those who face death from these animals are MY family. So yes I am mad, maybe nuts today.

Yes I am unhinged today. Parts of my family are under threat of death because they are Jews living in Israel.

Iran will start to rise up in support of Hamas and while distracted with that, Saudi Arabia will then start ramping up attacks on Shi'ites in Yemen. That region is just stupid with religion.

Israel gets mostly military aid -- which is obvious is necessary. Hamas gets loads of aid from Arab countries but it is likely stolen from their corrupt leaders.
