The American people IMO are sick and tired of the politics of personal destruction and the special election in California and Wisconsin this past week is an indication of what November will be like for you and your ideology

What purpose does it serve to have testing kits without mandatory social distancing that Trump doesn't have the authority to enforce? I wonder how he's gonna keep his elderly voter base when he has made it clear it's their job to die for the economy? Given the contagion and transmission factors, those numbers could actually be quite conservative. Accepting your numbers, and I am sure that absent compelling pressure to do otherwise Trump would accept those numbers, that results in well over 6,500,000 dead. Not to mention the collateral deaths due to an absolutely overwhelmed public health system.

So you didn't support then trump's recommendation of shutting down the economy?

Your argument should be about how people are routinely not tested for anything unless their symptoms push a doctor towards a specific concern. For example: we do not routinely test the population for Influenza. We simply give out a shot to protect from the last season's flu, with the idea that it helps to protect from the next season's development. I think. In the meantime, the doctor treats the Influenza patient before him. However, the military does test for HIV at least once a year and absolutely every time prior to deployment.
