The usa went from number 7 last year to number one this year.

Sweden tenth most attractive nation — again - The Local

"The most interesting and dramatic change in the latest study is the greatly improved image of the USA, which has risen from seventh place to become the world’s most attractive brand – an effect of the favourable view taken of President Obama. Such major changes in the way people perceive other countries are rare, and reflect the fact that the USA is a superpower whose policies have a worldwide impact."

"Rankings in the NBI study
(Previous year’s rankings in brackets)

1. USA (7)
2. France (2)
3. Germany (1)
4. UK (3)
5. Japan(5)
6. Italy (6)
7. Canada (4)
8. Switzerland (8)
9. Australia (9)
10. Sweden (10) and Spain (10)"

Yes, because we must have consensus before anything is acted upon, national security wise, or other. After all, what other nations "think" of us is the only thing that counts.

Tongue in cheek!

I mean, how stupid is this?

Does this mean we get a BCS bowl or something?

Germany was number 1? Germany...
Oh Fy fan.

ROTFLMFAO.
Not even the Germans think Germans are attractive.

France number 2?
Come on... LOL

What a crock of bullsit.

I can see that. We did go through an ugly period there for awhile, didn't we. Kind of like a second puberty with all the hair and zits (2001-2009). But, we're back, and ready for the prom.

The Cult is dead. The Kool-Aid drying up.

The Prom is a nightmare.
The nation wasn't expecting to get date raped.

Nice date rape reference, although it doesn't make any sense. I'll give you extra points for being a douchebag.

Sure it makes sense.
He's ****ing us without our consent.
America didn't vote for this crap, and how ObamaKare was passed is proof.

Had he been honest about his policies, he would never have been elected.

1) Obamacare doesn't exist because it was voted down. The Health Care bill that passed recently did not contain the single-payer system which Obama's health care plan did. So it is not "ObamaCare".

2) How does that make him different than other American Presidents? None of them actually run on what they are going to do because they are not in the position to do it yet.

3) Had Obama been a lame duck President, the right would chastise him for not doing enough. His Presidency's popularity was sealed before he won as you are going to have those who support Obama and his message of "Change/Hope" almost regardless of what he pulls from his hat, and you have those who will not support him because they didn't like him from the start.

The same way you got to arafat. I know who davy crockett is. I have a coon skin cap.:)

LOL Arafat was a terrorist. Exactly how does he relate to Crockett in any way shape or form?

Whats your next comparison? Tony Romo and Julius Caesar? :rofl

I was thinking this thread would be about physical attractiveness of the citizens and was going to demand to know why Iceland was not on the list.

If a conservative was President, all the righties would be touting this and the lefties would be saying it was irrelevant. Just shows what partisan hackery can do to folks.

if you can't stand the heat go back to chicago

i love my country, we do more or less **** all on the international stage, and we're always in the top ten of lists like this.
