Trump is careful to send only defensive weapons - and I would suspect the savvy Zelensky knew enough to only demand them in exchange for rare earth minerals. Trump would never provide Ukraine with the types of weaponry needed to accurately target military infrastructure inside the Russian border.

After viewing the Frontline video on Russian fiber optic drones, it would be great if Trump would, at the very least, provided intel - satellite and otherwise - about Russian weapons depots and factories, so Ukraine could at least put Putin back on his heels for awhile.

It looks like kabuki theater. The Patriot system from Israel certain to be delivered still has to undergo refurbishments. It's not certain where the other will come from.

Meanwhile Zelensky stated he is ready to purchase 10 Patriot systems for $15billions. Its unlikely he has the money, or line of credit, otherwise Trump would have pounced on it. Zelensky subsequently vowed to find the money. Meaning he does not have the money
