There is no "WE" Checkerboard Strangler. The United States government and the State governments are not lying through a concerted effort and control over all sources of information like the Chinese government did. Rather, it is Trump who lied, minimized the situation, and sat on his hands. And Trump had no credibility to start with.

Some people actually criticized Trump for closing the borders before criticizing him for not closing the borders sooner. Trump cannot satisfy democrats because they hate him for obstructing their communist takeover of America.

I don't think the average democrat is for communism. I think they are for democracy. Popular vote seems like the best idea unless you are the individual or minority that is having their rights or freedom voted away. Plus most of the hate and division is being fueled by the media who is owned by the rich and powerful.

I listened to the president yesterday and it was as clear to anyone with an open mind the hate and bias by our media. The media had absolutely no concern with working with the president in stopping this pandemic but went on and on over someone saying the federal stockpile was ours. Trump clearly explained that the federal stockpile is for the federal government just like the states have their stockpile for their state. The federal stockpile would be distributed to federal workers and to where they are needed by the federal government for the people of our country. Our means the people of this country at the federal level. This completely logical explanation was clearly not part of the hate and division agenda of the media. The media just kept trying to say it meant something else. Why even ask a question if you have no intention of listening to and accepting a completely logical answer. This hate by our media is clearly being used to keep us divided in a pandemic when we need unity.

The big mistake conservatives keep making is assuming we want direct democracy.
That's useful in small communities but in overall government, democracy works best inside the framework of a constitutional republic, aka a "representative democracy".
But in order for representative democracy to work, the VOTE must be sacred, protected and universally accessible to all citizens.
 
The vote is sacred? I have worked the poles for years. Pulling the party lever and not even knowing who is running is sacred? Having a list and voting for people someone else wants you to vote for is sacred? Knowing that your only choices are determined by the rich and powerful who own both parties is sacred? No voter ID. The person voting may not even supposed to be voting. Knowing that your vote won't count because the majority in your district voted for the other party is sacred? Not having any say in the primaries because you are registered in the other party. So the person from the other party I wanted to vote for is not on the ballet because I could not support them in the primaries. This is sacred? Then the person I voted for is being removed from office because someone from another country voiced their opinion. Nearly half the people in this country don't even bother to vote because they believe it is a waste of time.

You are quite the phony. Winston Churcill was prime minister of the UK and Ike was president in the US when I was born. Chances are, I am much older then you. I support the stimulus checks that are simply an advance on a payroll tax cuts and I support the loans and grants to businesses as they are largely getting shut down or their business severely limited by government edict over the corona virus. If in your head that makes me a non-conservative, I live live with your utter confusion.
