Gunshots have been heard inside Bancroft Hall, which houses the midshipmen.

One official on campus said, "The shooter is knocking on doors pretending to be a

I hope the threat is neutralized.

"There's really two main security checkpoints manned 24/7, by armed guards," they said.

"The only form of security is CAC readers, so theoretically you can't get in unless you have a CAC or someone just like leaves the door open."

Well, well, this thread certainly didn’t age well. A swatting incident in which there wasn’t an active shooter. The usual suspects jumping on the bandwagon with egg on their face. The thread apparently abandoned considering the news story doesn’t set their narrative any longer.
