The number of people experiencing homelessness topped 770,000, an increase of more than 18 percent over last year.
The next quite logical report from a "first-world" country. 770 thousands Americans don't have home!!!! 770 thousands !!
WHile US homelessness breaks all possible records, the war-mongering NeoCons are busy evaluating how to send more money and lethal weapons to Ukraine. How to murder more people, and how to ruin and devastate a larger part of unfortunate "country". They are acting like a Nazie party in Hitlers Germany and the outcome of such "activity" is predictable.

Priorities plain and simple. The bloated defense budget seems sacrosanct while social programs disposable.

LOL ! Musk is now worth 17 million times the $22,000 average wealth of the bottom 170 million U.S. residents, literally bought the recent US presidential election. “Winner “ and you lay effort to stop Putin aggressive war on Neocons ? The aggressive war you should be posting about is Musk-Trump fascist oligarchy.

Homeless population in the US is a fraction of a fraction of 1%

Russians should really worry more about their own country.

Musk and Trump didn’t start this war . It were your aggressive Neocons and their Ukro puppets .

Think that's bad? Just remember that homeless people are often criminalized for doing everything they can to stay alive. With the SCOTUS ruling that cities can do whatever they want to deal with unhoused people that the situation is about to get a lot worse. There's nowhere in the country that can handle this problem due to how gutted US cities are. Worse cases are in the countryside though. Lot of issues with domestic violence due to the lack of resources out there.

This is a LIE.
That’s the truth. I’m sorry you aren’t allowed to speak truth in your country without worrying about falling out of a window.
WE hope he will.
I’m sure you do. How many millions of Russians have been sent to death now by Putin for this unnecessary war?

It's a reminder that things like GDP growth aren't really how you measure the health of an economy. What is GDP growth for anyway if it's not to increase the wealth of the most vulnerable people in society? Instead debt-fueled economic growth expands money supply, which goes to banks and investors first, (artificially) raising the values of real estate and equities, which lead to higher prices across the board, and if you don't have the disposable money to invest in equities or a new home, the value of your salary becomes less while the wealth of everyone above you increases. Moreover, because their wealth increases, so does their spending power. It becomes a vicious cycle that leads to ever-widening inequality. Throw in something like a trip to the hospital without insurance, and you have a debt hole that people can't climb out of. And thus, homelessness

Also, children aging out of the foster care system.

Imagine that 100 billions of dollars spent on doomed war in Ukraine were rerouted on construction of cheap and affordable accommodation ? The world would be far better if Americans targeted there domestic issues instead of pushing their unwanted democracy to other countries l

Far less than ONE,

It really bugs you that Russia couldn’t defeat Ukraine, doesn’t it?

No worries…Putin’s lover is on the way to bail Russia out of the mess.

What’s funny though is the entire world has been witness to just how incapable the Russian military is.

We thought about that, and we decided that it was funnier to give weapons to Ukraine to make more Good Russians.

Idk, seems like money well spent to me. Instead of trillions of dollars being spent to fight a geopolitical rival, we're spending billions instead. Seems like a great deal to remind Russia that an oligarchic system that relies on brute force and assassinations is a terrible way to run a country. I mean, we got a coup de etat attempt on Russia without having to do anything more than a couple of drones. Pretty good use of money if you ask me.

Does it mean that homelessness should not be addressed ? May be homelessness can be a driving force behind drug abuse ?
You have it backwards.

How many become homeless and say, "I guess I'll start doing meth".

Compare that to how many start doing meth and lose their jobs and homes?
