I think it's far past time we begin taking care of America for a while. Far too much taxpayer monies ends up in foreign countries. Not suggesting isolationism, so don't jump the gun. We have far too many citizens in peril within the borders of our own nation to keep policing the world. No matter what ideology one believes, our nation should not have this many homeless, right?

Far too much greed and corruption in DC and it sticks easily to our representatives. Sane minds would have to agree something needs changed and the continuance of the current politization will be our end. Why I hope the DOGE will become beneficial in spending cuts, for this is where it must begin.....our government brings in plenty of revenue, it just has an insatiable appetite to spend. The money saved/cut from wasteful spending can fund many things to actually help Americans.
