By making the areas with more investment friendly in regards to building houses and rentals.
Outside of DC, Isn’t that a local issue?
By making the areas with more investment friendly in regards to building houses and rentals.
The next quite logical report from a "first-world" country. 770 thousands Americans don't have home!!!! 770 thousands !!
WHile US homelessness breaks all possible records, the war-mongering NeoCons are busy evaluating how to send more money and lethal weapons to Ukraine. How to murder more people, and how to ruin and devastate a larger part of unfortunate "country". They are acting like a Nazie party in Hitlers Germany and the outcome of such "activity" is predictable.
I live in downstate NY.. They are building apartments, condos and houses everywhere here.. Something is working here... The economy is booming... Go capitalism.. I don't expect Russians to understand that though..By making the areas with more investment friendly in regards to building houses and rentals.

Are you honestly saying you would be supportive of large spending bills to help and house the homeless and poor? Do you think the GOP would do that?Do all those millions of illegal immigrants have homes?......seems it would be much higher if we're counting everyone. The bastards make huge sums of money from war, the homeless don't give them the return they're looking for......as the left says, "go Ukraine, **** Putin"......while they ignore hundreds of thousands on our own streets freezing to death. They can always find another 20, 30, 50 billion for Ukraine.....it makes money, creates jobs, etc., lol......pond scum.

We don't have a homeless problem as much as a drug abuse and mental heath problem.
Russia knows all about that.
I agree but I also know there isn't a chance in hell the GOP will invest in social programs in fact "the boys" will recommend huge cuts.I think it's far past time we begin taking care of America for a while. Far too much taxpayer monies ends up in foreign countries. Not suggesting isolationism, so don't jump the gun. We have far too many citizens in peril within the borders of our own nation to keep policing the world. No matter what ideology one believes, our nation should not have this many homeless, right?
Imagine that 100 billions of dollars spent on doomed war in Ukraine were rerouted on construction of cheap and affordable accommodation ? The world would be far better if Americans targeted there domestic issues instead of pushing their unwanted democracy to other countries l

No, Putin started this war.Musk and Trump didn’t start this war . It were your aggressive Neocons and their Ukro puppets .
You should tell this to Putin, since the Russian economy is cratering, your working men are being killed and wounded daily, to the point your factories and construction companies can no longer find enough help, at least the ones who are not filing bankruptcy or fleeing the country. Of course you will never know how many homeless there are in your country, because anyone who disclosed those numbers would be flying out a 6th story window.Imagine that 100 billions of dollars spent on doomed war in Ukraine were rerouted on construction of cheap and affordable accommodation ? Sounds kinda hippie.Do all those millions of illegal immigrants have homes?......seems it would be much higher if we're counting everyone. Or they'll just give handouts to billionaires.I understand it will take huge steps to get our country where it should and if momentum doesn't carry past Trump, it will be all for nothing. Far too much greed and corruption in DC and it sticks easily to our representatives. Sane minds would have to agree something needs changed and the continuance of the current politization will be our end. Why I hope the DOGE will become beneficial in spending cuts, for this is where it must begin.....our government brings in plenty of revenue, it just has an insatiable appetite to spend. The money saved/cut from wasteful spending can fund many things to actually help Americans.
Your Russian hatred is boring and stupid . A blind desperate spite .
I am concerned not about victory or defeat , but of innocent lives , cut so abruptly. Of course , you , Americans don’t care how many Ukrainians will die
Sure. If it can comfort you.
Yes I think this report shows just how a tip from the iceberg .Do all those millions of illegal immigrants have homes?......seems it would be much higher if we're counting everyone. And who sponsors this so called Nochlezhka? I suppose the same deep state agents as those who finance Medusa, Navalny , Kara Muza and other paid “dissidents” ?"Although the Russian government does not release any statistics on homelessness, the Shelter (Nochlezhka) organization, the oldest group in Russia devoted to helping the homeless, says there are now approximately two million homeless in Russia and that their numbers are growing because of the war in Ukraine.Nov 21, 2024"
Isn't 2,000,000 greater than 770,000?
That's always a good time. And who sponsors this so called Nochlezhka? I suppose the same deep state agents as those who finance Medusa, Navalny , Kara Muza and other paid “dissidents” ?
The thread was about homeless people in US , not Russia . The homeless people in US will not become happier if they know how many homeless people are there in Russia , in fact they don’t care at all . But they will certainly become more comfortable if they get some safe place to live in , instead of hearing “good news” of how many “good Russians” were created by brave Ukrainian conscripts .
It's just terrifying. I am SO fortunate that my family found a small space for me where I can continue to be pretty much independent. If I had to pay a "real" rent, I'd be up sh*t crick.@MAGAnificent isn't wrong. You are.
MYTH: People who are homeless don’t work, and don’t want to work
FACT: Some people who don’t have a home still hold down one or more jobs, while others are trying to find work.
"Among the homeless Californians surveyed by UCSF, 18% reported earning income from a job (either formal employment or informal/gig work) in the past month. When the researchers eliminated people who were older than 62 or had mental or physical disabilities from the data, the percentage was higher — 25% reported working in the past month.
But even if people are working, they aren’t making enough to afford rent. Fast food workers, for example, make a median wage of $17.32 an hour in California, but they’d need to make more than twice that to rent a one-bedroom home, according to the National Low Income Housing Coalition.
That doesn’t mean people aren’t trying. Of everyone surveyed by UCSF, 44% said they were looking for work. Others made ends meet in other ways; 40% reported earning income from recycling or odd jobs.
Many participants reported barriers to working or finding work, including: their age, a disability, lack of transportation to and from a job, a criminal record, and the amount of time they spent trying to find food, water and shelter, while also safeguarding their belongings on the street.
In San Francisco, 17% of homeless residents surveyed during the 2022 point-in-time count were working, while 32% were unemployed and looking for work, 32% weren’t looking for work, and 20% were unable to work.
Job loss also contributed to many people becoming homeless. In San Francisco, 21% of people surveyed in 2022 reported that losing their job was what drove them into homelessness."

Six Myths About Homelessness in California: What the Data Shows
There’s a lot of misinformation floating around out there about homelessness in California. Here's what the data shows.timesofsandiego.com
That was the pre-electrion propaganda. It serves no purpose now. I mean who are you trying to scare? You claim these people are warmongers, that would mean they want war. So they are only going to read this and want war. Which means you are passing along propaganda for MAGA. Again its dated you need to update. The next quite logical report from a "first-world" country. 770 thousands Americans don't have home!!!! 770 thousands !!

Another American Whataboutism ? How can it help to fix your homelessness issues ?So tell me...how's inflation in the Motherland these days? I hear it's still heating up...
MOSCOW, Dec 25 (Reuters) - Russia's inflation has reached 9.5% this year, according to new weekly data showing that the consumer price index rose by 0.33% in the week leading up to Dec. 23, the statistical agency Rosstat reported on Wednesday.
Worry about your own homeless issue. As well as all the dead Russians due to Putin.Another American Whataboutism ? How can it help to fix your homelessness issues ?
The war started by Ukrainian nationalists. Russians will never loose this war completely . Just stop dreaming .Most Americans don’t care one iota about Russians.
Except to want Russia to lose the war they started.
