US Capitol Police confirm death of officer after pro-Trump riot

We always rise above and put down insurrections and right the ship even when people are trying to buy and sell little kids.

Our best days are always ahead of us because there are way more good people then evil people.
Yes, most people are good and a brilliant woman called Bridget Gabriel made this point very well. She rightly called it 'irrelevant"

and for every Donald Trump or Viking Stripper there are 10,000 parents just working their jobs and making sure their kids get in a good college/get a good job.

and that's why we always (sometimes at a snails pace) conquer the evil within.

That fact is not in dispute, the point seems to be that when a private business is the target (pun intended) of folks serving themselves up some reparations (looting) for alleged ‘systemic racism’ (possibly in another city) that the perps are given free reign to do so (with police assigned to protect city hall or other government structures ‘in case’ they are attacked).

Once the “should government agents take action to stop a crime in progress?” test is changed from “is the act criminal?” to “was the motive possibly justifiable as seen by the MSM?” or “is the target public property?”, then we have a criminal “just us” system rather than than a criminal justice system.

I expect that I will be accused of whataboutism, that important (rich and powerful?) victims could have been harmed in the case of the capital invasion and/or (usually) only property damage results from (most) looting and arson during riots, but the point is the difference in what is seen as a criminal act worthy of police using force (up to and including deadly force) to stop a crime in progress.
Lol. You should really stop trying to pretend you are a revolutionary.

Yes that happens more often than not, thankfully, but not always.

I wasn't going to bother but you seem to be serious so will offer the option. .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-vvoRwJSPc

currently, in this structure of government/society, we're undefeated.
Yes, and there was an earlier civil war that's still being felt today. As well, the Japanese, Italians and Germans were no different than us with their concerns. They're international. and human.

We see people, in fact just elected, who want to change that structure, Almost 250 years of success but there is now nitwits in charge who think they can come up with something new and improved and 'inclusive'.. And they have support among a great many earnest people. That's not a good sign for stability..

It's nice to see leftists concerned about officer safety for once. I expect it to last about 12 days or so.

Sedition and terrorism is against the law. That's like saying that locking up someone for murder is "revenge justice". They killed a cop, they planted explosive devices in the Capital, they tried to prevent the certification of the Electoral votes. Together, these are acts of seditious domestic terrorism.
Who is "they"?

Who is "they"?
And we don't yet know how much 'domestic' there was either. Seems people are stirred up, angry and too quick to judge, flailing around for answers, someone to blame, anything to make it stop and all go away. I don't think it will stop or go away.

And you have some evidence of this?
Trump implored the crowd to go to the Capitol and said he was going to march to the Capitol with the crowd but ... PSYCH.

The hyperbolic response by the media seems like it will only make things worse.

Who are they. And obviously the ones who stormed Congress. Duh.
Everyone had pipe bombs, eh? Everyone was killing police officers, eh?

This is the really awesome part about the accomplice concept.

Don't worry. We're good.

There were pipe bombs, they did kill an officer. You denying this?

1. The president.
2. Each and every single person that passed the outdoor barricades.
Had pipe bombs? Were killing officers?
