This seems to be the latest in HAMAS attempts to maintain control over the Palestinian civilian populace by ensuring it maintains control over aid distribution. First there were warnings not to go there, then there were shootings that they originally blamed on an IDF tank ( ) firing into the crowd, and now they are attacking the aid workers themselves.

Hamas terrorists attacked a group of humanitarian workers in Gaza Wednesday night, killing at least five and wounding several others.​

The U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation shared an urgent update about the attack and said the incident took place after days of Hamas threats towards its employees. The foundation believes some of its employees might have been taken hostage by Hamas, potentially adding to the total of innocent people the terror group is holding in captivity.​

“We are still gathering facts, but what we know is devastating: there are at least five fatalities, multiple injuries, and fear that some of our team members may have been taken hostage. We condemn this heinous and deliberate attack in the strongest possible terms,” the foundation said in a statement....​

Predictably, the BBC is not yet running this one (it's not an accusation against Jews, so, this one has to actually be investigated), though they are still running a piece citing "Health Officials" blaming the IDF without acknowledging that by "Health Officials" they mean "HAMAS".

Well, yes, this is the sort of thing Hamas does. It has found that typically, Israel gets automatically blamed for any deaths it causes, like when it blew up its own hospital with a misfire.

They do, however, get investigated. It's just that by the time the real truth comes out (and came out in that example), the people who automatically blamed Israel aren't paying any attention.
