US authorities investigating if recently published emails are tied to Russian disinformation effort targeting Biden

He is repeating crap that the Ziff-Davis numbnuts vomited out, at about the same time they were claiming a Mac Book pro had a full size WD mechanical HDD. It was idiocy that TechCrunch squatted out and got reamed by their own readers over. Not just for the political hackery, but due to the ignorance on technology.

It’s an external hard drive. It was subpoenaed dude. There’s a serial number.

Uh sparky, the repair shop doing data recovery by definition had permission.

Such idiocy from the left that is in a complete panic over this - and rightfully so.

Not to access an email account, no.

Still waiting to hear about the magical keyboard Guillani mentioned that Hunter brought 2 days after dropoff to help fix his computer or drive.
Anyone ever heard of a unique keyboard that a shop owner would not have that would help repair a computer or drive? I haven't.

Even more bizarre is that Hunter would have knowledge of such a unique keyboard -- is he a computer hardware engineer now?

What's sad is that really is the best you can do.

I don't always agree with Rush, but to think that is an insult is hilarious.
dude. you sound exactly like Limbaugh.

how much of his show do you consume/have you consumed. be honest.

I mean for him to have dropped off that particular external hard drive to back up the data to, he’d need to be a time traveler... so sure, why the **** not?

They are platforms, which are privately owned. And they weed out the fake news propaganda little Shepilovs try to throw at the wall to create controversy. Sorry that your side relies on lies as the foundation of political arguments.

They control content, they are publishers. They also provide in kind contributions to the Harris/ Xi campaign. They do this by running free campaign advertising for Harris by censoring content that supports her opponent.

They can't have it both ways. If they want to control content, then they have to abide by the same rules as Newsmax or DailyCaller does. If they want to be a platform, they have to get their grimy thumb off the scale.

No, they're not publishers, it's a platform with a TOS, and they have the right to police it, but they don't sit there and approve every text before it hits the web. It's just a platform. The Shepilov Media is just getting pissy because their fake news isn't making it through as much any longer.

If they were sincerely interested in putting out the story they could use 'alleged' or 'it has been reported that'. But to not report it at all is clearly an assist to the Biden campaign and could be seen as a contribution.

I don't think I've listened to the guy since the Clinton years.

How much hate media do you consume through MSNBC and CNN?

Then they could report that anything has been alleged.

Anything at all

Nonsense.

The TOS is utterly meaningless and arbitrary. Under the cited rule, the NY Times shit about the fabricated Trump Tax Returns would have been censored, but of course was not. Twitter routinely censors the POTUS and locked his press secretary out. They are engaged in naked campaigning for Harris/Biden. Sorry, if you have a public square, it has to be public. Twitter is the Harris campaign, a private club for far left propaganda. Do they have the right? Sure. Are they protected under 230?

Nope,

So much for private property, yeah?

lol

The only people upset are those wanting to proliferate fake news. There's no statistical evidence that one side is targeted over the other

Au contraire! From the Wall Street Journal.

“Twitter says it acted because the Post story violated its “hacked materials” policy. It’s true that the provenance of the story is open for debate and scrutiny—the Post says a laptop with the emails was delivered to a Delaware repair shop, and that the owner gave them to Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani. Notably, the Biden campaign has not explicitly denied the authenticity of the emails….The problem is that if Twitter has a policy against “content obtained without authorization,” as the company added, it has a policy against journalism—especially journalism in the Trump era. In 2017 and 2018 the Justice Department fielded 208 criminal referrals for leaks of classified information, more than three times as many as in the prior two years. Stories based on Administration leaks, including about national security matters, have circulated widely on Twitter.

Such stories ought to be read with a skeptical eye. But Twitter would never think of canceling the account of a news outlet reporting on the 2017 leaked emails from the Environmental Protection Agency, for example. The site allowed feverish falsehoods about Brett Kavanaugh to circulate as Democrats sought to sink his Supreme Court nomination.”

We all know this is Russian disinformation, it's a matter of are we able to prove it or not.

Still, not a bad word spoken of Putin.

Trumpism, it's a horrible disease. As bad as COVID.

He absolutely can and he would win....you don't own his private information, his pictures on the computer, his email or even for instance his financial information.
Not so. Hunter signed an agreement.

"Why the shop owner initially told the press he did not know who left the computer is not known. Normal business practices dictate that a ticket or receipt is created with the computer’s owner’s name, address and phone number. The shop owner said he tried calling the customer with no luck and eventually took ownership as stipulated in the repair agreement".

Who cares? Facts are facts. Evidence is evidence.

The government seizes computers and email account emails all the time. Nor is your question accurate. The real question is can a person who legally obtains a laptop - however that happens - legally boot up the laptop and see what's on it? The answer obviously is yes. There is nothing about owning an email account. These would have had to be on the computer hard drive itself, since emails are stored with the email company.

Personally, I think it most likely someone in the American intelligence community believes this is so horrific and Joe Biden so corrupt that people MUST be warned. The FBI and other US intelligence agencies have kept files on elected officials all the way back to Hoover. It also could be MI6 or other foreign ally's intelligent agency.

I don't care how the emails and documents were exposed or by who. I just care if they are real and truthful/accurate. Nothing else. Only Democrats have been ordered to never accept facts.

The emails clearly have fakes inserted. Suddenly there’s no metadata. A totally ridiculous email address of FirstInitial.Lastname.Country@gmail.com.

stop the nonsense, thanks
Okay. If no one in Intelligence has investigated it, it IS opinion that there is no evidence, I guess. That makes me feel better.

Which emails are clearly fakes?
