This confirms the assessment from the DIA that Iran's nuclear program was not "obliterated" as Trump wildly claimed before the attack could be properly evaluated.

But Trump already staked his ground so he'll have to continue to double down.

The real problem for him is that he's also said that negotiations aren't necessary. That means there's nothing to prevent Iran from going back and enriching uranium.

This could not have been handled worse.

CNN —
The head of the UN’s nuclear watchdog says US strikes on Iran fell short of causing total damage to its nuclear program and that Tehran could restart enriching uranium “in a matter of months,” contradicting President Donald Trump’s claims the US set Tehran’s ambitions back by decades.

Rafael Grossi’s comments appear to support an early assessment from the Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency, first reported on by CNN, which suggests the United States’ strikes on key Iranian nuclear sites last week did not destroy the core components of its nuclear program, and likely only set it back by months.

What do you suppose the consequences of that continuation might be for Iran?

Doesn't matter.

If they restart, Trump shuts it down. It's as simple as that.

CNN, huh?

Thinking that their capabilities have been set back months is a much smarter strategy than thinking they have been obliterated.

If that were true, then why would Trump feel the need to lie about the results of the previous strike?

The site with all of the centrifuges has been completely obliterated, as has every other nuke site. Any attempt to restart at Fordo or anywhere else will draw an even greater response then the B-2 bombing run. Trump has made that clear to the Iranians.

OK you go ahead and believe that.

How do you know this? Every intelligence body outside of the White House, including the UN, Israel, and even the US intelligence agencies, disagrees with Donald Trump that anything was "obliterated." The current damage assessment consensus is that there was limited damage to any of them and what damage was done can be repaired in a matter of months.

The US strike on the three Iranian nuclear sites and the subsequent Iranian retaliation strike on the US military base were symbolic strikes, and nothing more. They were political in nature, intended to give the respective leadership of each country a news headline to use to shore up flagging public support. They were not strategic strikes.

That pretty much covers the legitimate agencies.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!! It would take far longer than that just to clear the debris and get started.

Your ignorance is noted.
