It was to copy the OP's vague generalization. Why would Black people have alot to answer for?
Do you think everyone a little tanned hates gays?
I don't lynch black people, am I not christian? And whites use to lynch blacks in the US, were those whites not Christians?
I'm surprised this didn't get any attention in the US. Given the close ties the evangelical and political right has had in Uganda and their proselytizing against gay rights there, I'd think they'd be proud of all of their work and how it's turned out. /sarcasm

American evangelical Christians certainly will have a lot to answer for if this bill passes. I wonder how many of them are secretly patting each other on the back for exporting this particularly heinous anti-homosexual rhetoric turned into law.

The death conviction is death by hanging.
Anyone who KNOWS someone is homosexual and doesn't report them, will serve up to 3 years in prison for not turning them in.
Read the bill, it goes on and on and on.
Rachel Maddow has done an outstanding job showing the links between the US religious right, both politicians and churches, and their hand in this "unintended consequence" of their activities.

Actually Africans are majority Christians in many countries and they are very much hardline. Anti Gay/Witch killings.
So this judgement is not very surprising considering the fact the Bible is violent if one wants it to be.
Can you prove genicide caused by Christians has occurred?
Did you live in a box during the Balkan wars? :doh
Yep the biggest one out there.. you do know that Hitler was a Christian right?
Yea yea whatever keeps your faith with a religion that has mass murders and commits genocide.. ignorance is bliss.
Goebbels notes in a diary entry in 1939: "The Führer is deeply religious, but deeply anti-Christian. He regards Christianity as a symptom of decay." Albert Speer reports a similar statement: “You see, it’s been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn’t we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?" In the Hossbach Memorandum, Hitler is recorded as saying that "only the disintegrating effect of Christianity, and the symptoms of age" were responsible for the demise of the Roman Empire

 Hitler despised the Christian religion.
Hitler turned away from Christ in 41-42, which is when he began his genocide campaign in earnest.
Hitler was for some time Christian, but not while he was tossing Jews into ovens. He was a pagan at that point, worshiping Wotan among others.
I agree that Hitler is a piss poor example. Though if your searching for an example of Genocidal christian dictators look no further than Oliver Cromwell. You should also bear in mind that the Nazi puppet regime in Croatia killed of Orthodox Christians and Jews with the support of the Catholic clergy in that country and that Francisco Franco's Falange was an explicitly catholic party. Though im amazed we,re even having this discussion when it was a little over a decade ago that we were bombing Yugoslavia in response (apparently)to a Christian genocide against Muslims.
......The Balkan realities also show a great adaptability of Islamists to present a worldly, democratic face. Readily accepted by the West, Bosnian leader and fundamentalist Islamist Alija Izetbegovic was tolerated and praised as a democrat. Nevertheless, in his book "The Islamic Declaration" Izetbegovic asserted absolute validity of dominance of Islam: "There can be neither peace nor coexistence between Islamic religion and non-Islamic social and political institutions," he wrote. Later in the war, Mr. Izetbegovic was influenced and financially and militarily supported by fundamentalist Islamists (including Osama bin Laden). Similarly, some Kosovo leaders, previously called terrorists and thugs by U.S. special envoy Robert Gelbard, are now afforded respect in the United Nations and elsewhere.
The ugliest and most dangerous reflection in the mirror is that of double-standards. As we are facing challenges and dangers of radical Islam and terrorism worldwide, let's not dismiss the Balkan experience. Our policies must contain moral dimensions. International agreements, legal precedents and evenhanded treatment of warring people were not followed in the Yugoslav tragedy. If we are to get out of the Middle East quagmire we must change these policies. Failing to realize that by endeavoring to resolve complex problems by double standards, we more often than not double them in the end.......
And whites use to lynch blacks in the US, were those whites not Christians?
Excellent post. Outstanding post.
If Miss California and Prop 8 are the top of the slippery slope of homophobia and bigotry towards gays, the this is the bottom...
Congrats Evangelicals. You've become the Catholic Church (during the Spanish Inquisition)...
Fear and ignorance run riot.
The term Holodomor (Ukrainian: Голодомор; translation: death by starvation) is used by some to refer to the famine of 1932–1933 in the Ukrainian SSR during which millions of people starved to death as a result of the economic and trade policies instituted by the government of Joseph Stalin. The famine was a part of wider Soviet famine of 1932–1933. There were no natural causes for starvation and in fact, Ukraine—unlike other Soviet Republics—enjoyed a bumper wheat crop in 1932.[1][2] The Holodomor is considered one of the greatest calamities to affect the Ukrainian nation in modern history. Millions of inhabitants of Ukraine died of starvation in an unprecedented peacetime catastrophe.[1][3][4][5] Estimates on the total number of casualties within Soviet Ukraine range mostly from 2.6 million[6][7] to 10 million.[8]
The root cause of the Holodomor is a subject of scholarly debate.[9] Some scholars have argued that the Soviet policies that caused the famine may have been designed as an attack on the rise of Ukrainian nationalism, and therefore fall under the legal definition of genocide.[10][11][12][13][14] Therefore the Holodomor is also known as the "terror-famine in Ukraine"[15][16] and "famine-genocide in Ukraine".[17] Others, however, conclude that the Holodomor was a consequence of the economic problems associated with radical economic changes implemented during the period of Soviet industrialization.[11][12][18][19]
As of March 2008, Ukraine and nineteen other governments[20] have recognized the actions of the Soviet government as an act of genocide. The joint statement at the United Nations in 2003 has defined the famine as the result of cruel actions and policies of the totalitarian regime that caused the deaths of millions of Ukrainians, Russians, Kazakhs and other nationalities in the USSR[21]. On 23 October 2008 the European Parliament adopted a resolution[22] that recognized the Holodomor as a crime against humanity.[23]....
Fair enough. Though I would be weary of dismissing these conflict/s as just being about Islamic extremism. The violence between Orthodox and Catholic Christians was no less extreme (especially in Croatia)
The trouble in the balkans pre-dates either christianity or islam.
But, did he do it because he was a religious fundamentalist? He also embraced the occult. By your logic, can we brand occultists the same way?
Muslims have been slaughtering people since day 1. But, for some crazy reason, you never seem to mention that.
 Hitler despised the Christian religion.
In point of fact I'm thinking most christians would claim they aren't/weren't.
Of course not, not today.. but back then you bet they would.
So? Does it change the fact that he was a Christian? Can you show me where he changed religion and to what? He was born a Christian.
I am a Christian but also despise those that use Christianity to further their own petty political agenda and use it to justify everything from discrimination to murder and rape.
I would think the very fact he may have despised christianity and wasn't practicing it would mean, yeah, he wasn't a christian.
Oh good god no, you did not just seriously say that....did you? Are you like, 13 or something? So? Does it change the fact that he was a Christian?
I despise those who use religion to murder and rape too. >_<I am a Christian but also despise those that use Christianity to further their own petty political agenda and use it to justify everything from discrimination to murder and rape.
