U.S. is closing in on doing something it hasn’t done since World War II — borrowing more money than

We're still too important to the global economy for other nations to allow us to collapse into a Weimar situation. Though, we're in a similar predicament.

The Weimar Republic failed because it was at the mercy of many different ideas and forces – political and economic, internal and external, structural and short-term. It is difficult to isolate one or two of these forces or problems as being chiefly responsible for the demise of the Republic.

Which is why the debt is not a problem now. But in 10 to 20 years that won’t be guaranteed. The problem with running up debt to pay off urban poor to not work is eventually the system will collapse and when all those welfare payments stop the cities will burn.

obama only added 8 trillion. Bush added 7 trillion so he did double the debt. Bush is responsible for the 2009 deficit.

Your math is corrupt. Do you have a link that supports your fantasy?

We have 125 million taxpayers out of a population of 330 million, so maybe we could take a look at how many people are on the dole that shouldn’t be.
We could make some changes in the tax code. For example Amazon invests their profits into expansion. Fine. But the economic effect of redirecting fat profits into expansion has not been addressed, nor has the social cost of losing those jobs. How many of you got your first “real” job in retail? It’s getting tough out there.

The biggest technical threat is the dollar losing it’s reserve currency status. It is more of a weedy technical issue until you lose your job due to imports. China’s genetic dishonesty is the only thing stopping them from being a major player.

The solution is to tax the shit out of every taxpayer either directly or indirectly through business. Lastly, the free world needs to choke Chinese state sponsored imports out of existance.
And the multinationals will choke the life out of anyone who tries.

Dim Donnie has been spending money like its going out of style since he got elected. He had to try and spare Americans from the effects of his failed trade wars..
There has never been a worse president for the economy.

LOL, this clip has been posted dozens of times. He’s not saying what you claim, he’d talking about the Dems using the virus as a political weapon. Just count the number of times he uses the word “politicizing”.

There is no limit to Democratic Party hypocrisy. Pelosi has said that every American can die for all she cares, unless she can get 4.6 trillion more - most of which is for raw hundreds of billions each to Democratic politicians to do with as they please - while ranting about federal debt.
Oh now Jocko that is not nice. She never said that. You are of course putting words in her mouth based on your selective take on what you think she said. That is unsanitary. Don't put things in her mouth. Wear a mask and practice safe distancing, Yer gonna suck out her dentures if you keep that up.

Nice spin

There is something that is in the way of the exercise and expansion of free market opportunity at a street level.

That "something" is the huge corporations that are acting as restraining regulators to control and subjugate.

We need a Teddy Roosevelt style Trust Buster to break up the huge conglomerates.

The crime(s) of communication control inflicted on our society by the combined censorship and information controls agreed upon and executed between Facebook, Twitter and Google should be very concerning to all.

Sadly, the blinded morons on the political left are numbed and blissfully ignorant.

If they "win", they don't care that they are idiots.

Our educational system is making it hard to prevent multinationalism. World level business engagement is a big place and requires a lot of talent. We are graduating way too many barristas, and too few engineers.
Multinationals feel they owe the USA nothing because they are focused on “The World”.

The US educational system is failing because of US culture. Sports stars are more important at school than academics. This has been the case from the 70s at least. So no one wants to go into the sciences or engineering ( except the children of Asian immigrants for the most part). Everyone else wants their children to be the star athlete.

At university, engineering and science are expensive degrees, and can be very beneficial to the country. The US makes it so expensive that people can not go into those programs without crushing post grad debt. Then that combines with low starting salaries

Multinationals owe nothing to any country. They are responsible to their owners. Having them owe something to the state reeks of socialism.

It FEELS like being "focused on the world" translates to being anti-American.

Whether it is the punitive nature of wealth re-distribution under the Paris Climate Accords or the Emerging Nation Status given to China by the WTO, the goal always seems to be to hamstring the USA.

Regarding our education system, the inmates are running the asylum. I see no problem with grants and scholarships and loans. I do see a problem with Free.

As long as students will get the money to spend to get education, the cost of education will rise. Eliminate the funding and the tuition will fall.

This is simple economics. Judging by the insanity displayed by AOC with her Economics Degree, the value of any degree is pretty much nil. The cost of education should reflect the worth.
