Twitter employees distraught over Musk buyout, too 'in shock to speak': report

You really think Twitter is going to become a total open platform for any speech? There are places like that on the internet already, they have all devoted into cesspools just like twitter will without some basic ToS in place.
Of course, that's not what I said.

They do have better jerseys. But Jack Hughes's ass....
The Devils now have jerseys that say "jersey" on them. I hope there wasn't a problem with the players not figuring out what they were for. We might see them labeling "pants" and "skates" soon. I just hope they learn what to do with the "puck" (which is to put it in the Ranger's net!).

I look forward to you calling out the next childish post from the left.
That would be about 70% of his own posts.
I wouldn’t hold your breath.

It's easier to pretend you don't know what i am referring to, then admit it your post was dribble.

You are so predictable, even after 6 years 😂

They have "jersey" on them so the weeping fans know what it is?

I think what is disturbing is that even die hard Trump supporters describe him as a douche. His supporters are even worse people than he is. I too supported his policies and preferred him over a liberal President. I’m not siding with the leftist at all. I make common sense decisions. I aligned with the left regarding the pandemic because it made sense to take a novel virus outbreak seriously. I feel like I’m in no mans land at the moment. I lean Conservative but this version of the GOP is disgusting.
Whats disturbing is you see me as a diehard Trump supporter. What has been made obvious over the alst 5 years is that 'people' like you that have become so lost in your ridiculous hatred of the man see anyone that doesnt hate him with the same mindless rabid hatred you do as a 'Trump supporter'.

Imagine your social media operation being bought by a thin-skinned troll.
Imagine the lawyer of a social media operation crying like a little bitch because it was bought out by someone who doesn't share their Liberal views.

Liberals bawling at a loss...reminds me of Hillary supporters when she lost to Trump.
Bawling is a hell of a lot better than storming the capital in most peoples opinions.

All this Rw hate towards the employees of a company says a whole lot about the type of people you all are.

It does, doesn't it? In one moment they are wailing about being "censored" from a media platform that they supposedly hate, while in the next moment doing an exorcist head spin to wish ill on Twitter employees because they're supposedly all democrats

I can't wait to see how the new and improved Twitter turns out.
Me too. I'm eager to see how Musk's vision of reduced content moderation fares when faced with the challenges of maintaining a platform friendly to advertisers. I'm all for people engaging in discourse on Twitter, but the real concern are the trolls and I'm pretty sure they'll cry foul if they get booted and complain that Musk's idea of freedom of speech wasn't the real kind.
;)

The "left" doesn't have a problem with Musk buying Twitter. The conservatives on Twitter have remained there through the years. The only people - left or right - who have been banned are those who violate the TOS. Just like happens on this board.

Besides, when I was part of the right, we were always big advocates of private companies associating with whomever they chose. Why is it okay for DP to ban people who break their rules and not Twitter?

And what is more important is the fact that unlike this board, Twitter is global and is used by hundreds of millions of people. Some of these people are in war zones, some in horrible states yearning to be free, some are all the enemies of the people many of us would want to protect and defend. Twitter is not a little parlor game, its a platform that can change history. With that much power comes responsibility in my book. Musk better remember that...
