I agree. Walking away from your sStudent debt is absurd.
Fixed it for ya.

Every statement is not literal. So nowhere.
The ready reserve Labor force? If they aren't working, can you honestly call it "Labor"?
Bahaha!The ready reserve Labor force?
You have chosen ignorance. Nothing I can do.AOC is never short of words. Whether they ever make any sense is another matter.
Laughably wrong and classist. The people who would benefit from going to college, usually do.
Some people have tried to paint it as having a single cause, like federally-backed student loans. In reality, it's like most of the problems in our country. There's not one cause, there's many. Growth in administrative overhead, schools racing against each other with lavish facilities, not enough competition in a regional market, lack of transparency in the real costs... it's a big mess. Can't really disagree there. Most of the schools are state run schools though, why are the states raising tuition?
No.Is it possible to have a negative IQ?
Fixed it for ya.
That invisible government hand making loans available to all, regardless of ability to pay it back certainly didn't help. None of the issues you bring up helped. Some people have tried to paint it as having a single cause, like federally-backed student loans. In reality, it's like most of the problems in our country. You know what we should stop doing? Yelling at the students who had nothing to do with creating these problems. Stop calling them "lazy" or "greedy" for just wanting college to be attainable like it was for their parents. My dad paid for college with a part time job putting potatoes into a big machine that chopped them up. Trying to do that now is laughably impossible. It's supposed to be our goal that the next generation has things easier than we did. We failed. Let's not leave it to them to solve.
I only wish I could ignore AOC.You have chosen ignorance. Nothing I can do.
What a strange world you see.Anytime you have a chance to put the next generation in a giant economic hole for doing the thing you pretty much absolutely need to do to get a good job, you have to.
It's weird. Almost like the whole system was set up by people who paid off miniscule debt decades ago and are now just financially preying on people. How unlike America.
I wish you could too, but here you are. Posting a thread about her based on a statement you haven't actually read.I only wish I could ignore AOC.
What a strange world you see.
That happens a lot with 30k in debt and making a minimum payment. Interest rates are too good to prioritize federal loan debt over credit cards or other debt. You must not know many college educated people. I know tons with good jobs who are paying off student debt 15 years later.
AOC is just not too bright.
You have no idea. But even if you did, it wouldn't matter, because back to the point (and I could not have said it better):You must not know many college educated people. I know tons with good jobs who are paying off student debt 15 years later.

I think functioning adults have an obligation to live up to their contracts and pay their debts. I think anyone who demands someone else pay their debts ought to be embarrassed.Does this preclude me from advocating for a much better system? Or are you like every other conservative on this forum and you just insist on doing things the way we did it yesterday because that was also the way we did it the day before that?

Ever had a credit card?

The point was that you prioritize the debt with the highest interest rate. So of course, people pay on a $30k-50k debt for a long time, it's like buying a car only a much better investment (as long as you major in something with good financial return)I have. I pay it all off every month. Most kids out of college don't have that luxury of paying off their student debt like that. You need a college education these days just to get your foot in the door.
Never mind if you try to own a home or have kids or have a medical emergency, etc.
Then I suggest you read the OP as you’re clearly confused on what this thread is about. What question are you answering? Also, I think it is safe to say no one cares what you think.
However, feel free to go to bat for big banks in the name of preserving a clearly broken system.
I didn't vote for Donald Trump. Either time.No.
But...how would Trump acolytes ever figure that out?
I must say, however, that the irony of seeing Trump folk in threads like this attempt to question the "IQ" of folk who are clearly their intellectual superiors....is always worth a nice chuckle on this end.![]()
