Director of National Intelligence/ Tulsi Gabbard was absent from a major intelligence briefing with the Senate yesterday.

Trump bluntly said that Gabbard's assertion that Iran was not building a nuclear weapon, was “wrong.” It also comes amid a damning intelligence leak that weakened the White House’s claims regarding the effectiveness of Trump’s strike on Iran.

“I don’t care what [Tulsi Gabbard] said. I think they [Iran] were very close to having one.” - Trump

Ah! So according to what I will call the @SkyChief Doctrine, since Donald doesn't give credence to Tulsi, we can conclude that Donald is not a fully intelligent person. I am glad that we were able to figure this out together.

So let's get this straight. US intelligence said that Iran wasn't building a bomb.

The US launched an attack that the DIA says wasn't that effective in stopping them from building that bomb they weren't building.

They all do eventually. Ten years from now I fully expect tell-all books from her, Rubio, Leavitt, Musk, and everybody else in his orbit admitting all the same things the 2016-2020 generation told us.
 
They haven't found who leaked yet. Until then there's no one to blame. Based on her being withheld from the meeting, they must have an idea it came out of her department. DIA would have forwarded info to DNI, SecDef, and DOD and someone THERE could have leaked. Most things I have seen was the leak was from DIA so I would think the Director of THAT group would be asked questions about the leak.

Maybe the pillow guy will replace her.

It's all speculation at this point. The WH has not commented on Gabbard's absence in the Senate Intel briefing.

The Senate is expected to vote sometime this week on a resolution that would require Trump to get the approval from Congress before striking Iran in the future. It's highly doubtful that will pass, but we'll see.

Firing Gabbard wouldn't be the first time that Trump fired one his appointees. I think he'll likely appoint someone else as DNI, and put Tulsi in a lesser (more symbolic) leadership role. It's no secret that Tulsi Gabbard was (and still is) staunchly isolationist, and didn't want the U.S. getting involved militarily in foreign conflicts.

This suggests that Trump really did not anticipate getting roped into the Israel/Iran conflict.

A possible source with the most to gain from the leak is the White House.....which now says they will limit briefing Congress on classified information because of the leak.

More authoritarian behavior on the part of Trump to cut Congress out of the picture.

Possibly Edolf. He's likely got backdoors into all our national security data now. Govt data, personal data too. He and his crew had unfettered access for months. And went to the courts to ask for more. TACO is a moron.
